My family enjoyed the 4th of July weekend at Mary's house on Beaver Dam Lake. The house has plenty of space and the back yard has beautiful views of the lake and you can watch the jet ski performers who are just on the other side of the bay. The grassy area has plenty of space for yard games. We rented the pontoon boat and really enjoyed boating around the large lake with multiple islands. This is an older home with some beautiful feathers but some minor quirks. However, Mary has made several updates and appears she is continuing to update the Airbnb. There are a few things from the listing and pictures that were tough to tell - the stairs and bathroom have low ceiling/door clearance, myself and my brothers are 6'2" to 6''5" and frequently hit our heads in a few places (anyone over 6' will have to remember to duck in several spots, including the kitchen fan). There is not a regular size dishwasher in the kitchen, which should be considered depending on the size of your party renting this 5 bedroom house. There are air conditioners in 3 of the bedrooms and in the living room.

This is a beautiful house in beautiful surroundings in a family neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and looking out over the lake (including the little island where my brothers and I once winter-camped with our dogs). The yard and garden are very nicely landscaped, and there are many places to sit and chat, both inside and outside. We were in Beaver Dam for a family reunion, and this was a wonderful place to have our evening meals. The kitchen is well-equipped. (Unlike other short-term rental places, the refrigerator and cupboards have no foodstuffs, so bring what you need for at least your first night and morning. Kwik-Trip is sort of nearby, and had many of the things we had forgotten.) Be aware that although you will be provided with some paper towels and TP, you will be purchasing what you need if those run out. Also, be mentally ready to be out by 10 am on your leaving day, having washed and put away any dishes. All in all, it was wonderful.

The cutest lake house with absolutely everything you could possibly need (including a goodie basket to welcome us). The kitchen is extremely well stocked for cooking, lots of fun yard and lake toys. Cute decor, plenty of space. We loved it!

We had a very nice stay at this lake house with a larger group. There was plenty of room for everyone, inside and out. The large porch was great, as well as use of a gas griddle outside for cooking meals. The house is very whimsicaly decorated, albeit a bit cluttered. The house was clean, but can have a musty smell due to the moisture of being by the lake. If you have a larger group, keep in mind there is only one bathroom. We visited during a very rainy year, so the yard was quite sloppy and parts were under water. So if you plan to use the yard or frequently walk out to the dock, you'll want waterproof shoes. The lake is also shallow and warm, and it was quite green. There were kayaks to use which was a great feature, but the water is not appropriate for swimming if that's something you're planning to do. The house is also pretty close to neighbors, as most lake properties are. Overall this was a great lake house with lots of room and amenities.

We love staying at Jeanette and Ryan’s home. It is truly serenity at the lake, with a cute town nearby and lots of great Wisconsin food. We especially like all the great meat and treats at Leroy’s Meats in the town of Fox Lake. The best treat though is sitting and looking at the lake from that magnificent porch. We will be back!

My family and I stayed at Nick's lake home for a gathering, and enjoyed every bit of it! It was clean, with such an open layout. The kids enjoyed and played in the finished lower level, which was fun as the adults stayed upstairs in the evenings. The lake and view are wonderful. Highly recommend!

The view of the lake from the back yard was breathtaking! It was right across the street from an amazing restaurant. Very much needed getaway and it was perfect!!!

Clean, comfortable, beautiful home in wonderfully relaxing setting. Great for a getaway from it all and very fun to have kayaks, pedal boat and paddle boards. Jenna is so responsive and caring that she beat the amount of time I’ve ever waited when calling for something from a front desk at a hotel! Fantastic host!

Really nice, peaceful place by the Rock River. We spent our time relaxing and fishing. Would go back in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as described and very welcoming. We booked it for a peaceful, quiet weekend and it perfectly delivered. Everything was clean, well stocked, and well maintained. Angela was very responsive and her recommendations were super helpful. Definitely check out Ledge Park; it was a highlight of our trip. This was a great rental and we would definitely return.
