Beautiful little house. AC works great upstairs and Downstairs. The bed was very comfortable. Full Kitchen available for all your cooking needs. The farm animals are all well kept and very sweet. We took our fur babies with us and had no problems. Blue crab are very easy to catch with a trap and some chicken legs. I fished everyday while I was there, Weather was perfect and I had an assortment of live bait and artificial but no fish this time, it happens. The host was very nice and even allowed us the use of all of the docks on the property. Very nice and peaceful. We had a great experience overall

Barry’s place is an excellent place to stay. You are close enough to everything, but very quiet and private. We loved the view off of the back deck, but we didn’t get up early enough to see the sunrise. We walked up to the golf course restaurant for dinner one night. We will definitely come back again and will hopefully be able to stay at Barry’s place

Had a nice relaxing weekend. The condo was the perfect size for me and my husband. It was right next to drift wood beach. Jekyll Island is a beautiful.

This was the 2nd stay at Dusty Rose for my 4 sisters and me. It's the perfect space - 5 separate beds (hard to find), nice big table to sit around and visit; walkable neighborhood; nice screen porch to sit and listen to the birds in the morning. Because our group is older, we don't look for activities, restaurants or entertainment. We're more into sitting around the table and catching up. But we understand there's a nice waterfront park not far from here with bars, restaurants, etc. And we accidentally found a beautiful cemetery while we were walking which was quite interesting. We took advantage of the fire pit on our last night. We did have a plumbing problem and a plumber was unavailable. The next day, Anna was able to get someone to come take a look. They are very quick to reply to messages. We hope Dusty Rose will be available next year when it's time for us to get together again.

Great home! You can tell Deborah goes to great lengths to make her place comfortable and homey. (Down to a handwritten welcome note, chocolates, soda, snacks, and wine!). Location is perfect, walking distance to beach and fabulous restaurants. During our stay there was an issue with the internet beyond her control and she went above and beyond to correct the issue and make sure we were compensated for the lack of internet. She was in constant contact and was so sweet in trying to make it up to us. Who needs internet when you are at such an incredible place! We look forward to coming back and booking with her again!

Enjoyed our stay place was close to everything and neighborhood was quiet

Barry’s place is a gorgeous, cozy little spot tucked away on the water feature of a golf course, it was easy to find with the first spot in the parking lot reserved for the property. It’s a beautifully decorated place with THREE balconies that protrude over the water from any of the sliding glass doors from inside. My wife loved being able to feed the turtles first thing in the morning as we enjoyed our coffee. There are so many of them, if you love turtles, this is definitely the place for you, they come right to you. Barry was very attentive to us before we even left from Augusta to head that way, to the time we left Sunday morning. I now have a new favorite place to stay in the Brunswick/Jekyll/St. Simon’s area, and if it’s available when I come, I’ll be staying at Barry’s place from now on. Thanks for a great experience in such an amazing place. Until next time, The Settles

My daughter, I and furry friends enjoyed our stay. Especially liked the fenced in sideyard.

We felt right at home during our stay and had everything we needed. It was very quiet and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
