Carr Cottage is a characterful 19th century mill workers' dwelling situated in the heart of the Pennines in the beautiful Luddenden Valley with a multitude of walks and footpaths. Close to Halifax and its historic Piece Hall or Hebden Bridge with its vibrant arts and crafts scene. We are dog friendly with excellent walks for dogs and their people. Dogs must not be left unattended on the during your stay. Carr Cottage is cycle friendly with classic road or off road routes right rom the doorstep.

Built in the 1700s and modernised in 2019 Shiloh Farm is a stone built farm house, near Delph, Saddleworth surrounded by acres of farmland and moorland. With two country pubs within walking distance and all the attractions of Saddleworth no more than 3 miles away you'll have plenty to see and do during your stay. Situated at the end of a no through road, Shiloh farm is the perfect location to get away from the hustle of the city whilst being only a 30 minute drive from the center of Manchester.

Dove Cottage.

Welcome to our cute converted stone outbuilding in a quiet part of the village which is a small village on the Woodhead Pass on the edge of Manchester and the Peak District. It is ideally situated for walkers enjoying the Pennine Way and Longdendale Trail. There are good road and public transport links to the village. Guests will have the privacy of the cottage but we are available in our family home opposite. Additional fees are added for early check in and check out. £5 charge for pets.

This stunning, newly renovated cottage is located adjacent to Shibden Hall Estate, the ancestral home of Anne Lister, and inspiration behind the recent BBC period drama “Gentlemen Jack.” A mid terrace cottage with gardens, front and back and surrounded on all sides by green wooded areas. We’re only a 2 minute walk to the historic Shibden Park, where you’ll find a cafe, boating lake, land train and model railway, a well equipped modern playground and of course the majestic Shibden Hall.

A sleeps two, barn conversion with original beams. The Nook is located at Back Tor Farm in the Edale Valley. We welcome all enquiries of three nights or more but do prefer Friday changeover dates. It is an essential part of our hosting terms that the person responsible for booking our property makes their full name and mobile number available to us in the Airbnb booking process. 3rd Party bookings are not acceptable. Although surrounded by spectacular views the train station in Sowerby Bridge is a 5 min car journey away to reach further destinations including Manchester or Leeds. The hosts live next door and are available if needed.
