Self contained part of charming thatched cottage in this attractive South Oxfordshire village, between Didcot (2.5 miles) and Wallingford (3.5 miles). The accommodation has its own entrance, sitting room - with inglenook fireplace (only use electric fire provided) - and steep, winding stairs leading to the large bedroom with vaulted ceiling and superking bed. Guests will have sole use of the adjoining bathroom. Period features also include low beams, but rule out a shower. Not for children.

We have some lovely pubs and a great farm shop selling local produce. And Oxford is only 15 mins away!

Our self-contained, private, beautifully appointed cottage offers easy access to Harwell Science and Technology campus. Newly built, it features a deluxe double bed, a large power shower, ample off street parking, and is nearby a main line train station with direct service to Oxford, London and beyond. (Central Oxford City:15 mins, London:45mins). Perfect for anyone working at the Harwell Site (walk or take a direct bus), it is also ideal for guests in town for weddings and family events.

So visitors may come and go as they please. There is ample parking directly in front of the studio. We are 10 minutes drive from Didcot Parkway station.

My lovely home is a calm little haven tucked away in a quiet, family-friendly neighbourhood — yet it’s still within walking distance to shops, restaurants, bus stops and the train station. The train makes it very easy to travel to Oxford, Reading, Bath, Bristol and London and the A34 is just minutes away — making it a perfect base for commuting, exploring or visiting the area.
