Devon: soggiorni in alloggi con sauna

We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

Great communication from before I booked it as I had a few questions. Very accommodating with my requests and clear instructions. A home from home. A lovely welcome pack for when we arrived. Spotlessly clean. Extremely comfortable beds. A lovely hot shower with some good power to it. Had absolutely everything we needed including toilet paper, washing up liquid and towels provided which is very rare in a caravan. Even had a coffee machine with a selection of different coffee pods. Lots to do on the site and access to the neighbouring site too. Also only a 10 minute drive to Torquay so plenty to do. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again. Lovely little spot on the edge of the moors, sauna and swimming pool are a 1min walk from the flat, but are fantastic and well maintained. The hot tub is excellent, not as private as you might think :) and takes a bit of love and attention to heat up, but worth it! Flat is small and homely, perfect size for a couple!

Excellent communication and always accessible. Caravan was positioned really well, it was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle from the front. Easy to find, with host providing good additional information about the area. Lovely area to explore both on foot or by car. Good facilities on site and useful site staff. We had a great time.

Stunning setting, beautiful grounds and the perfect break for a young family. Our kids loved the pool and the games room, very well situated for trips to Totnes and Dartmouth. Sheila and Richard were very welcoming and responsive hosts - we had a great time, highly recommend the space and the hosts!

Fantastic location within minutes of the beach which was perfect for our short Easter break. The apartment is beautiful with everything needed, and access to the pool & sauna were a very welcome addition for us during our stay. Victoria is an excellent, responsive host and the building concierge are also top notch. Thank you!

Really great place for a vacation, either a short or a longer break. Stunning place and very well cared for, with really comfortable and spacious accommodation, and nice common areas, especially for families. Very peaceful. The pool/jacuzzi/sauna are great, although a bit busy at times (as expected). Nice bar/play room with games for when the weather is not so great. Shame that the restaurant was closed for renovations at the time, but that was expected as it was mentioned in the listing. Area around is served by plenty and really nice, traditional pubs with good food and drink. Great experience, overall!

The location was within walking distance of most of the places we wanted to go. Having off-street parking is an absolute bonus in Exeter, and having room for 2 cars was fantastic. The proeprty has been modernised, itwas clean with good natural light and was excellent value. If we require accommodation in Exeter again, we would be trying to book here again

We hope to return again next year! It was perfect.

We had a lovely stay at Poolside. The location was great to see lots of places in Cornwall. The pool was a great addition, and being able to book it for an hour private per day use was ideal. The bottle of Prosecco and fresh milk in the fridge was a nice touch. The sofa wasn’t the comfiest, and the towels were quite small, but overall an amazing stay and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Cornwall/have a relaxing getaway.

A beautiful two floor apartment with stunning sea views from both the balcony and the master bedroom– making for some spectacular photographs particularly at sunset and sunrise. Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The bedding and pillows made for exceptionally sound sleeping, and the blackout blinds in the master bedroom were faultless in their endeavours. All three bathrooms with Stocks with quality amenities as was the kitchen and games cupboard. Brilliant Sonos sound system and wood burning stove made staying in for a movie night the perfect way to end our trip. We wish we never had to leave. This is a truly amazing place, and we are very grateful to Sam et al for hosting us. The allocated parking close to the apartment was ideal and the little green trolleys that one can borrow to transport one’s luggage (and partner) made for a refreshing lack of repeat journeys from one’s car to the front door.

From the outset Kathryn welcomed us with all and more essential information regarding her beautiful apartment. It lived up to and excelled our expectations and we enjoyed the most wonderful, comfortable and relaxing few days. We had a wonderful stay. The location was lovely and having the pool so close by was brilliant. We swam every day. The accommodation was nice, cosy and had everything we needed. Even though we are a family of 4 we found it spacious enough for our needs with plenty of helpful storage space. We would love to return!

A really lovely apartment, bright and spacious within walking distance of the town. A steep walk back up so worth taking advantage of the spa passes and taking a dip and using the sauna for aching muscles!

Great stay. Lots to do on site, pub carvery was lovely and host very quick to respond.

Amazing as always! So much to do with our daughter and we felt right at home as we did last year. Abi as always is an amazing host and extremely responsive. The lodge was warm and felt just like home. The beach, activities and restaurants were great. Thanks you Abi 😄

Just wow! we have just come back from 4 fabulous nights away staying at this gem of a place! it was exactly what we had hoped for! Little Staddles is beautiful! From the location to the attention paid to the architecture and decor! And the hot tub and sauna simply the icing on the cake. Lovely weeks in the local area, we did so many steps from the property into Lyme Regis, via the micro brewery a definite must! Claire was a great host, really responsive and even dropped round some tea bags in the evening after we forgot to get some in town! would highly recommend for a peaceful weekend break away from the hustle and bustle!!! we will definitely be going back! thank you for ab awesome time!!!

The most peaceful stay in such a lovely location! Picked this stay for a mini baby moon and it’s everything we wanted. Quiet, fun and relaxing. Mike and Cath were so welcoming and were always available for any help. There’s not many air bnbs that offer a pool, jacuzzi and a cinema/projector all in one place! Can’t wait to come back for another Summer! A special thank you to Mike for giving us some history of the local area! Super appreciated :)

Badgers House was the perfect venue and location for a large family break. House was well equipped and comfortably furnished. The indoor pool proved a knockout with the children - especially as the weather wasn’t great! The indoor games room was a hit for the male adults, who enjoyed hours of pool, and they hit the gym too. The woodland walk was perfect, we spotted a male deer, the children loved it! Hide and seek in the house was so exciting and kept the little ones entertained for hours! Thank you to Max and Alex for being superb hosts and giving us this beautiful home and setting to enjoy. Our granddaughter broke her heart to have to leave! We will definitely be returning and may need Toad Hall next time for more family members to come along and enjoy the beauty of this peaceful place.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful, peaceful home! It was the perfect getaway—spacious, spotless, and incredibly dog-friendly, which made it even more special for us. Anita and Martin were amazing hosts—so welcoming, accommodating, and quick to respond to any questions we had. A big thank you to Martin for setting up the BBQ and sauna for us—it was such a treat and made our stay even more relaxing. There’s so much to do in the area too, we were never bored! We can’t recommend this place highly enough and would definitely love to come back!

Once again we had a lovely stay at Stancombe. The farmhouse is beautiful. We spent a lot of time in the cosy kitchen with the aga but it would have been nice to have slightly more space in the lounge for comfy seating as there were ten of us we couldn't all sit in there at the same time.
