We enjoyed our stay at the Firefly Cottage. Everything was perfect and the view of the lake is beautiful. We hope to stay next year for our granddaughter’s birthday.

Great place to stay. Nice friendly neighborhood and the house is very cozy. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay around Brooklyn.

Karen is kind, friendly and helpful. The house was clean and comfortable, although, we spent most of out time outside and in the lake. I loved the pink flamingo floaty, it was so hard to say goodbye. 🫠 We also enjoyed the canoe, kayaks and the round floating thing with a spot for us all. We were able to sit back and visit on the beautiful and peaceful lake. The lake was not busy even though the weather was perfect and it was Labor Day weekend. We saw a golf cart parade go by and an ice cream truck stopped for us!!! Thank you Karen for your hospitality! We will be back again!

We loved our stay. A quiet, warm home in a lovely setting. A perfect writer getaway. Our creative well is full.

Great place to stay. The house was clean and just as described. The deck/patio area was perfect for hanging out. The house had everything you could ever need. Short walk to Jerry’s pub. David was an awesome host, answered any questions we had, and was very helpful. He also left a very nice gift bag for us that we all enjoyed ☺️

Tyler is a great host. He was very personable from our first interaction and was proactive in reaching out to see if we needed any help.

We had a very nice stay! The log-home construction and theme was very nice and unique for the area and the home was comfortable, roomy and thoughtfully designed, featuring high quality newer appliances and modern finishes that gave it a fresh, welcoming feel. The lake view was nice with plenty of bird sightings right outside the window. The house was well-stocked with most everything we needed, which made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. While there is a high-speed road nearby, the noise was minimal with the windows closed and didn’t detract from the overall experience. Close to many grocery stores and restaurants in the Hillsdale and Jonesville area. Lisa was fantastic to work with—friendly, responsive, and made everything incredibly smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Although we stayed in the heart of winter and both lakes were completely iced over, it was such a nice location and cozy home. The outdoor space was great for the dogs. The decor was nice and the space was very open. They made a smaller home seem very big with what they've done. Very happy with our stay!

This place was everything we needed!!! The location was perfect because it was so close to the Waterloo Hunt Club for our horse show. The inside is recently updated and has everything it listed, even a keurig! This home is on the water and give you assess to the dock for fishing, has a fire pit, beautiful patio and a great grill-eating area including a large picnic table. The 1.5 bathrooms was nice when we were all getting ready in the morning. It’s a quiet area so easy ins and outs. Just overall excellent and so comfortable! Will come back for sure when we have our next horse show!

I had no issues upon arrival entering the space. Easy, clear cut directions. Space is clean, tidy and perfect for a weekend getaway. Hot tub was nice with a great view of the lake. I felt comfortable staying here. I would visit again.

such a detailed, friendly space! stayed for a wedding weekend and it had anything you could need from an iron to all the extra toiletries. Plus was so relaxing and cozy. our host personalized recommendations too, would definitely recommend if you're looking for an adventure or for a place to crash in the beautiful Irish hills.

We stayed during the off season but I have to imagine this place is amazing during the summer. We had a great time. Beautiful view of the lake.

I enjoyed everything about my stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and I sat on the porch to watch the lake and wildlife despite some very chilly temperatures. I loved the skylights! Bed was very comfortable and all that I needed was supplied. I would definitely stay here again.

As a family of four with two teenagers, we were blown away with our stay at this charming cottage in Michigan. Not only was the initial correspondence so welcoming and relational, but once we arrived, we found so many intentionally kind touches throughout the house. Our kids couldn’t have been happier with the thoughtful basket of snacks and my wife and I were very impressed with the unnecessary but incredibly thoughtful bottle of wine, along with a kind note. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, and the three season room with sky high windows was an incredible “get away” for my wife and I to have early morning coffee while our kids slept in. Our kids really loved watching movies in front of the fireplace, which also has a couch/pull-out bed. Additionally, the backyard, which was feet away from the lake, was complete with a hot tub, fire pit (perfect for smores) and paddle boats which we really enjoyed taking out on the lake. We had a wonderful time, and absolutely will be back!

Debra was an absolutely amazing host. She was helpful and responsive as soon as I booked and throughout my stay. The house itself was clean and as described, and I felt right at home here. The lake was beautiful and I’d love to come back when it’s warmer out. I will definitely choose to stay here when I am in the area again!

Thank you so much for your beautiful cottage! Our family loved it. The area is so pretty-breathtaking really. The cottage is beautifully renovated and adorable. We were not able to go boating this trip, but we definitely hope to be back and to go out on the pontoon boat. There's so much more hiking we would love to do, but our family came to town to visit relatives, and celebrate our dad's 90th birthday, so our time here was focused on that. We were so glad that it was a mere 10 minutes to get to Chelsea and the assisted living where he is staying. Thank you also for the thoughtful welcome gifts! And for the use of portacrib and a few toys for our 8 month old grandson! You guys are awesome, and we hope to be back soon for another visit. Much gratitude! Lauren and Steve and family

Amazing place! Even better than expected! Although it says no AC, they have a little AC unit next to the couch and it makes the whole place so cool! We brought fans and didn't even need to use them. The view was absolutely beautiful. The sunsets on the water were truly breathtaking. I also wanted to mention how I love that we were able to spend it with our puppy, kind of rare to find a nice waterfront like this that allows animals! We will definitely be back next summer.

We stayed with our two children (1 and 3) for three months during some of our home renovations. It is super family friendly which is why we chose it! It was amazing to have a full size crib for our 1 year old, baby gates available and lots of toys/nugget couch for the kids to enjoy. I appreciated that the home felt lived in instead of brand new which meant I didn’t have to constantly worry about every move my kids made. We were comfortable here and the view was beautiful even though it was winter/early spring. Lindsey was great, always very responsive and answering any questions we had.
