Here you and your companion(s) can experience the quiet and relaxing life on a farm with plenty of adventure awaiting just around the bend. Sit and enjoy a sip of coffee or tea on the front porch while watching the cattle graze the pasture across the road next to a rustic white barn or venture about 3 miles to the largest privately owned lake in Madison County. Secluded Cabin on BlackRiver/ Hot tub- NO PETS!

This is our family cabin. Our family farms soybeans, rice, and corn. We are too busy working during spring, summer, and some of fall to enjoy our cabin much. We are wanting to share our beautiful place for others to enjoy. It is located approximately 10 minutes from Poplar Bluff, MO. We live about 30 minutes away, so we can be available if needed. We have satellite TV and wi-fi. Cabin is pretty secluded nestled among the trees with the Black River flowing within 100 feet of the deck.

A great place to unplug and get away from it all! The Happy Camper includes a covered outdoor kitchen area, a firepit and additional beds in the adjacent cabin. The location is located nearby numerous outdoor gems including the Black River, Taum Sauk, Mountain , Sam Baker State Park, the Ozark Trail and mountain biking areas. The property has a year-round creek flowing through it to enjoy and explore. The adjacent "Cabin on the Creek" is also available to rent if you need more space.

Please note: a silicone heat pad is provided for all irons in the bathroom.
