We are located close to the Peak District, with Chatsworth House not far away. It is surrounded by Oakerthrope Nature Reserve and is perfect for those wanting to explore Derbyshire. We live next door and there are friendly cats and a dog that live on the property. *please note Hot Tub needs to be booked BY THE GUEST DIRECTLY with ‘Midland Hot Tub Hire’ for price, to arrive at the property the day before arrival to be filled and heated by host. My place is surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Family activities are close at hand. You’ll love my place because of its homely feel - lots of guests have commented that they feel at home in Chapel House, its fabulous aspect and its magical character. My place is perfect for couples and families. Its open-plan design cultivates holiday togetherness. Relaxation comes easily here. My village has two lovely pubs. The Gate was awarded 'Most Unspoilt Pub in England 2017' by The Good Pub Guide.

Meadow View is a 19th-Century Terraced Cottage, overlooking the historic village of Rowsley. Rowsley is a small village next to the Chatsworth Estate, which is home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. Historic attractions include Caldwell's Mill, Haddon Hall and Peak Rail. Other activities on the doorstep include shops, pubs, restaurants and fishing. Peak Village is a 5 minute walk away and Rowsley is only a 10 min drive from Matlock and Bakewell accessible by a local bus service.

Cuckoostone Barn is an excellent base to explore the wonders of the Peak District National Park, with amazing walks and cycle routes on the doorstep, or a place to simply relax and unwind in an idyllic part of the world .

Chert Cottage is a delightful and private two bedroomed detached cottage that was refurbished in 2020. The cottage sits off the road with it's own drive, great gardens and private patio, along with ample private parking. Well behaved pets are welcome. All of this in the wonderfully picturesque Peak District village of Great Longstone, just minutes from the Monsal trail and Chatsworth House. Bakewell is also close by, along with lots of walking opportunities.
