Dating from 1756, this Hotel offers period-style rooms which are individually styled with antiques (including carved 4-poster beds in some) and come with free WiFi, TVs, and tea and coffee making facilities. Some also feature original fireplaces. All have en suite bathrooms. Attached to the hotel is a traditional style pub which offers a tavern style menu available to eat in the cosy bar, while there's also an oak-panelled restaurant with a fireplace, plus an expansive beer garden.
