Cyclists can step out of the front door onto the NCN 6 route which leads onto the cloud trail which goes all the way to Derby. Walkers will be spoilt for choice only being minutes away from the famous Bradgate Park, Calke Abbey and Staunton Harold.

30% larger than many lodges, our lodge is located in a quiet area of the Marina nestled amongst the immaculately manicured planting but within walking distance of places to eat. Basque all day in the sunshine from our huge south-facing wrap-around deck or walk down to the Boardwalk for a drink whilst watching the sun set. The lodge has no steps & wide doors. Mahonia Lodge was brand new in 2022. A total of 96 sq metres with 46 sq metres of open plan living this lodge provides plenty of space for up to 4 Adults and 4 children. A large wrap round deck allows guests to enjoy sunshine from dawn to dusk while enjoying the wildlife on the ornamental lake. Set in 74 acres of the largest inland marina in the UK the site has been sympathetically developed to accommodate both shopping, restaurants, cafes and the abundant wildlife.
