Thank you Anna for letting us stay in your beautiful home! Really lovely place - beautiful art and decor inside, clean, great location (near parks and the cathedral), and easy to get into town (we walked everywhere). Free parking was also convenient.

A fantastic place to stay if you are visiting Chester. Ten minutes walk into the city centre. Quiet residential area. The accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed and more. A very warm and welcoming home from home! Thoughtful welcome basket and milk in the fridge. Great communication from Jo. Highly recommend and will stay again if ever in Chester.

Lovely house in a central location, perfect for exploring the town and nearby walks. Really well equipped house with everything you might need. Also amazing period features. Would definitely recommend this as a stay for anyone who wants to visit Montgomery.

We were supposed to be staying at Town Cottage in Llanidloes but there was a problem with the boiler so Ruth very kindly let us stay at Lower Dolgenau instead. Therefore this review applies to Lower Dolgenau. It was a lovely cottage and although we were not in the town, the countryside was idyllic. We woke up every morning to the sounds of a babbling river, sheep and pheasants. The cottage is full of character and very cosy but plenty of space. The cottage is just off the road between the village of Trefeglwys and the hamlet of Llawr-y-Glyn. The nearest pub is about 2 miles away and it's only 7 miles to drive down the hill to the town which has some nice cafes, a bookshop and an organic food shop. It's a superb area for walking. Don't miss Llyn Clywedog or Hafren Forest and there are plenty more walks on the Llanidloes website.

There were 14 of us staying for 2 nights which was great value split between us all. The rooms were a good size, the kitchen was great as we could all fit round the table. Instructions were extremely clear so I had no need to contact the host. Loved the games room. Great location to pubs and restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Jonathan’s place! The house is absolutely perfect for two couples and two children – spacious, beautifully decorated, and in a fantastic location. Just a 15-minute walk from the beach, it was ideal for days out with the family. The large bath was a lovely touch, and the whole place felt really homely and comfortable. One of the highlights was the lovely stream just outside – it made the setting so peaceful and picturesque. Jonathan was a great host – when we had an issue with the TV, he had someone out to fix it straight away, which we really appreciated. We’d definitely recommend staying here and would love to return in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay here! We stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect, cosy and clean, as well as a perfect location (close to the train station and Aubergine Cafe which was great for breakfast). Will stay again when coming to West Kirby!

Perfect stay at Danielle's place, the location was ideal, it was very suitable for a 10+ group of people and the communication with Danielle was easy and straightforward. I would recommend it!

Our stay at this lovely cottage was very enjoyable. It is very well located to visit all the top places of interest in Chester, Roman Ruins, Chester City Wall, River Dee, City Centre, cathedral, shops and restaurants. Everything is walking distance for those that are able to do so. You can walk to/from the station if you don’t mind walking approx 20-25 mins. We did take a black cab on arrival from station to property which cost approx £5.50. The comfort factor and cleanliness was good at the property and Gary was very helpful with all communications prior to our booking. We would recommend this property for a city break stay in Chester.

The place is as beautiful as the pics and felt homely! We all loved the size and space especially the kids who’d never been in a house with 3&1/2 floors! Everything was clean and tidy and Penelope’s communication was excellent! She was very accommodating allowing for all beds to be made up on account of us not knowing exactly what configuration we would need! The kitchen was very well equipped and we had what we needed for preparing dinner for the 9 of us. The local Indian take away was excellent! We went for a little walk along the river and over the bridge when we arrived to catch the setting sun! The surroundings are stunning and the fact that everything is within walking distance including the quaint little square and shops, was a bonus! Only thing to mention is the house is on a main road if you have light sleepers. The road isn’t that busy and it didn’t bother most of the party. Nothing that earplugs wouldn’t keep out. Would recommend to family and friends and would stay again!

Great place, very well equipped and extremely comfortable. We cooked most of our meals ourselves and I’d recommend other guests do the same. Kitchen well equipped and a great sociable space. We all commented on how well we slept, the bedrooms were comfortable.

Fantastic property in a great location, only a stones throw away from the city centre, check in was easy and offered earlier than advertised! The house was immaculate in every aspect! 10/10 would recommend to anyone! Thank you again for hosting us ☺️

Clean, tidy and everything you could need for a stay. Comfy bed. Sunny patio garden. We were only there for one night so found the small local supermarket very handy.

I recently stayed at this wonderful apartment near Anfield, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! The location is fantastic, just a 10-minute walk to the stadium! The apartment itself was pristine and had a lovely, fresh smell—truly a welcoming place to come back to after a day of exploring. It's also conveniently close to various shops, making it easy to pick up any necessities or treats during my stay. They were quick to reply to my messages, ensuring that I had all the information I needed for a smooth check-in and throughout my stay.

Marks Chester home is a beautiful home away from home. Great location, short walk to the centre. Very clean and well presented. We’ll definitely return.

A stunning old property perfectly sited by the River Severn just a stroll from the Wyle Cop area of this beautiful town where there are a wealth of independent shops and cafes. Walk a little further and you will find all your High Street stores too. The house is just yards from an excellent gelato shop and a Spar store for essentials is just over the footbridge. Independent coffee shops in both directions. An Indian Restaurant and takeaway, a Chinese takeaway and a very good riverside pub with lots of outdoor seating are all very, very close by as is a quality butchers shop and an excellent deli should you want to cook for yourself. The little garden area is gorgeous but it was too hot for us to enjoy it during our stay - and it's not often I write that. Simon's communication was excellent from the get go, with everything clearly explained. And if you like cats there are two gorgeous ones that will pop in if you leave the front door open so do check the house for them if you go out!

Charlotte’s place was beautifully decorated and very clean. We could walk to a very close great pub around the corner. We also could walk to the centre of the town but at the same time it was very quiet in the evenings. The Shrewsbury abbey can be seen from the kitchen window and a bedroom window. Would highly recommend this airbnb.

Really enjoyed our stay, the accommodation was exactly as described and we felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. It was clean and tidy and comfortable. The area had many bars, cafes and eaterys, and all was only a few minutes walk away. We would definitely consider staying at Glanrhyd again.
