Lovely location 30 minutes away from town. The decor is charming. All appliances are top of the line (some ARE quite complicated, though). Did not get a chance to tour Monkey Island (we were visiting family for Thanksgiving) so can't speak from a tourist's view of the area. Overall, a great place to stay. Would stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Our family of 10 celebrated Christmas and we had so much space. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed from measuring cups to mixing bowls and baking sheets. The only thing we could have used was some casserole dishes. Everything was clean standing exactly what we expected from the description and the pictures. We had plenty of blanets and bedding. There were even throw blankets for when we watched movies. We had an amazing time and are already talking about our next visit!

Perfect place for a cozy weekend getaway. Loved the privacy, scenic views and relaxing rainfall shower! The host was also super friendly and accommodating. The golf cart was a fun bonus - highly recommend taking it out!

Me and my wife needed a few days to just get away from the hustle and bustle of Branson, so we chose this lakeside, water front, peaceful, simple, clean, well-priced cabin built in 1947. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE FIND!!! It was perfect and we were there December 31 - January 4. Loved everything about it! Didn't want fancy. It isn't. Didn't need lots of amenities. Don't have them. Simple/Peaceful/Clean/Great price/ and we chilled out just as we needed to do. Will definitely return to try out Grand Lake when it's warm. THANK YOU!!!

Such a cute little spot! It was perfect for my family! Loved that they had board games included in the home. Everything was super close but the location made it feel more of a private area! Everything was as described.

Location is wonderful and the grounds well kept. The cabin was very well appointed with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and the hosts obviously put a lot of thought into the details.

This location was perfect for our family Thanksgiving trip! It was cozy and the view was Amazing!! We would love to go back in the summer so we can enjoy the lake! Hosts were accommodating and the home was beautiful! Definitely one I would recommend!!

Our party had 7 children ranging from ages 7-17, 5 adults and we all had our own spaces. You can’t beat the views, the outdoor spaces were great to sit and just enjoy each other’s company, and the living room was arranged so that we were all able to sit and watch a couple movies. The owner was an absolute gem, accommodating, personable and even allowed the men in the group access to his fishing spot. Wonderful weekend retreat in a home with so much character and charm.
