Ik raad deze plek van harte aan! Knisperend schoon beddengoed, heerlijke restaurants op loopafstand, fantastisch ontbijt iedere dag, vliegveld op 12 km afstand , de Jeita grotten dichtbij, zeezicht vanuit je (zeer grote, en met goed werkende airco) kamer, en van hier uit vele tours door heel Libanon te maken. Hisham spreekt uitstekend Engels en geeft je vele tips, regelt alles voor je, echt geweldig! Ook een fijn schoon zwembad erbij met lekkere ligstoelen. Ga hierheen! Je krijgt geen spijt!

Mr. Elie was very kind and Gaby - the house caretaker - was very friendly and always there to help us during our stay. The experience of the stay itself was perfect and the house offered us peace & tranquility at a time that was much needed. The house is very cosy, clean and offered some of the most amazing views and surroundings in Lebanon. I highly recommend this beautiful house and Mr. Elie for his hospitality. Thank you & look forward to visiting you again soon!

I enjoyed my stay at Beit El Laffé. I was in Beirut for work, and my trip went super well. The space is very green, spacious, and calm in the heart of the city (with 24/7 electricity and hot water). Pascale is very friendly, and everything was super smooth. My new favorite spot in Beirut!

The house looks exactly like the photos. It's absolutely breathtaking, dating back 300 years and in impeccable condition. Our host was extremely hospitable and welcoming. The entire house was spotless and the host is very hands on. The terrace and pool are very spacious with a bbq pit that the visitors can use. Upon entering the room, we were greeted with a gift basket filled with toiletries and essentials to make our stay more comfortable. Breakfast was served the next morning in a rich, traditional Lebanese manner. It truly felt like being in a living home, not a hotel. Thank you Rita for making our stay so comfortable and welcoming us.

This was a great place to stay in Beirut, only 10 minutes by taxi from the Corniche seafront area, and in one of the two liveliest districts of the city. The restaurant directly below is the best in the area - we kept coming back to it! It's chill enough to never intrude on sleep (and no noise ever seemed to reach the bedroom) but warmly busy with lots of interesting dishes, great cocktails, tasty breakfast and truly lovely staff. The bedroom itself is basic, and the bathroom old, but we had everything we needed - and any time there was a small problem, it was easy to tell the restaurant staff and get it sorted.

Our stay at Fatima's place was amazing. Me, my wife and son could immediately feel she put her heart into it and that gave a very welcome and peaceful atmosphere. The combination of a cozy and styleful interior and the amazing views of the surroundings were great and the vicinity to Deir al Amar made this a nice base to explore this historical place from. The place was fully equipped and I wouldn't be able to find anything that was missing. Also Fatima was very flexible and accommodating with check-in and the breakfast she prepared was amazing and rich and really showed she cared for us as her guests. As such what truly sets this place apart is Fatima, the gracious host and her warmth and hospitality. Our stay here was definately worth it and we hope to be back. Thank you!

Kaia's place is very nicely decorated, spacious and with needed kitchen essentials. The location is very peaceful, and of course best enjoyed from the accommodations refreshing swimming pool. Communication with Kaia and family was very smooth. I will definitely be back!

We were very happy in Charif's apartment. There weren't any issues with the space and the location was perfect especially as we had some people from abroad visiting so it was great for them to be close to all the great spots. The only thing that I can say is that the wifi was quite slow but we managed... The AC and water usage at first was a bit tricky to keep track of but we got the hang of it! I would stay at Charif's place again.

Nice flat and nice area. I really liked to stay in Nicolas place, things went very easy and smooth with him. I do recommend to those who like simple easy going. Very interesting neighbours and a polite and efficient door man.

I cannot thank Irene and Michel enough for the very enjoyable stay at their apartment; friendly, helpful, great recommendations, wonderful conversations, so knowledgeable about Lebanon and the Middle East in general, their company really made the visit much better than it otherwise would have been. A beautiful apartment, bedroom with TV, private bathroom and lovely breakfast each day. Do yourself a favour if coming to Beirut, stay with Irene and Michel - you will not regret it!

We loved our staying at the Baffa house. We enjoyed every minute and felt very welcomed. The house is very cosy, clean and the location is perfect in the lively Mar Mikhael neighborhood (great restaurants, galleries). We loved especially all the local tips and help we got from Samer as well the amazing Lebanese breakfast we were served every morning. I would highly recommend the Baffa house if you stay in Beirut!

Jamil lives in a very authentic Lebanese style home that already belonged to his parents. There are many stories to discover and Jamil is truly a man of wisdom. I very much enjoyed to stay at his place in Ashrafie - very close to the wonderful Sursock Museum and the bar and restaurant scene around Armenia street.

This accommodation is just perfect! Samer is a really good host and gave us plenty of tips after our arrival. Also the communication before the arrival was super smooth. The room was super clean and we loved the style of the apartment. We were served an amazing breakfast every morning, the food changed daily and was of very good quality. The neighbourhood is hip and trendy with plenty of options for drinks and dinner. We would definitely recommend to stay at Samer's place and hope to come back one day! :-)

Amazing place in a very peaceful surroundings. Great food and super comfortable rooms and bed. The hosts are lovely and tend to all your needs.

What a beautifully appointed and lush with greens home! And it feels like home or staying with close friends or family even! Samer, his helper, and kids are lovely! So helpful, insightful and gracious hosts. The fresh and homemade breakfast is AMAZING every morning! My friend and I stayed in the twin room with our own bathroom and it was very sizable bedroom and comfy, set back in the flat so felt private. I can’t say enough positive things about our stay due to choosing Baffa House and Lebanon was amazing overall. Great location, Mar Mikhael bars/restaurants in walking distance. Make sure you book a day trip via Samer with Rita, we had a magical day visiting Sidon, Bettedine, and Barouk Cedars with her! Will definitely recommend Baffa house to all my friends/family and stay there again if I venture to Beirut again.
