Annex has one bedroom, downstairs is the dine-in fully equipped kitchen and downstairs toilet, first floor has the lounge and third floor has the bedroom and bathroom with bath & shower. The annex is in Selby close to A1 and M62. Thirteeen miles from York. Good train links from London, York and across the Pennines. Good bus to York and Designer Outlet park and ride. There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. We are in a quiet village called East Cottingwith: a fantastic base for visiting York and touring Yorkshire. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.

With easy access to York by car, bus, cycle track or (in the summer months) riverbus, you can explore the city’s history or the beauty of the surrounding countryside. This one-bedroomed cottage is well-equipped and private, with the owners next door for information or advice on your visit.

There's a super king-sized bed, unshared outside seating and lovely views of the garden.
