Built in 1849, Pres du Port has been in our family for over 50 years. Perched above the harbor within Stonington village, each room is unique and the views are breathtaking. Room#3 has views of Mosquito Harbor and islands. This room has a private bath, king size bed, which can be separated into two twins with prior arrangements. Sleeps 2 people, plus a third for an extra charge of $25 per night. A lovely vintage dressing table and work space area add to the convenience and comfort of our guests. Bathroom has a tub/shower combo. There is no TV in the room. There is a TV in the common room, shared by 3 rooms. Complimentary continental breakfast is included.

Located at the tip of the Blue Hill Peninsula, Brooklin, Maine offers a quiet retreat a bit over an hour from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. A one-minute walk from The Maine Hideaway's doorstep brings you into the historic village of Brooklin, Maine and a close walk to Wooden Boat School. Our home was built in 1874, we have multiple guest rooms, all with incredibly comfortable mattresses and modern furnishings. We serve a continental breakfast Tue-Sat and hot breakfast on Sun & Mon.

Guest room in a private home

My home is located in a small town on a dirt road and very private. The rt 1 coast/ocean is about 25 minutes away and offers lighthouses, lobster and Maine hospitality. This guest room has a full size bed that is stacked with pillows and an antique quilt, dresser and closet space. The bathroom boasts of a shower as well as a claw foot bathtub should you wish to lay back and relax. There is a television, and an air conditioner in the warmer months as well as a ceiling fan as an alternative.

We offer a 1st floor guest room & private bath inside our home near the Salisbury Cove area of Bar Harbor. Bar Harbor Lobster Pound, Mainely Meat BBQ, Utter Heaven Ice Cream & also Mini Golf is within walking distance. The Acadia NP Visitor Center, the start of the Park Loop Rd and downtown Bar Harbor are within 2 to 5 miles. Drive into Acadia or to the shops, restaurants & excursions of Bar Harbor or from late June to mid Oct, catch the free Island Explorer shuttle from the end of our road.

Our innkeeping-family has been welcoming guests to the the Blue Hill Peninsula of Maine since July 4, 1889. We are perfectly situated directly on the saltwater of the Reach and the freshwater of Walker Pond. The Oakland House has two private ocean beaches. In the distance, you can see the Pumpkin Island Lighthouse and even the Camden Hills! Our guests also have access to the Blue Dot and Yellow Dot trails that lead up to a phenomenal view of the waterfront from Lookout Rock.

We are the Black Friar Inn and Pub. This is room 2 on our 2nd floor. It has a private bath and the ceiling of the bathroom was once a trolley car’s ceiling. The stained glass windows give the room a rosy Medieval glow. With two comfortable chairs and a fireplace, this room has it all. We are a B&B so breakfast is included with your stay. Please see our website for the menu. Our in town location gives our guests a three minute walk to the harbor and downtown Bar Harbor.
