Dawlish Warren: case vacanze con accesso alla spiaggia

We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

Stunning accommodation and location. The hosts went above and beyond to provide a wonderful stay. We highly recommend visiting!!!

Dawn & Richard were fantastic hosts. The accommodation was fantastic and spotless. Bed was very comfortable with great blinds to block out the light and the bathroom was lovely and clean. Couldn’t fault anything would definitely return.

Enjoyed our stay in Allison's lovely apartment. It was very comfortable and we appreciated the styling. Allison was friendly and accommodating throughout.

This was a first class stay. The studio was spotless, comfy and well-equipped. There was a lovely extra touch of home made chocolates on arrival. The host was very helpful, friendly and unobtrusive. Recommend!

Lovely. Lovely and peaceful location walking distance to the beach and shops. However do need to be fit and able as steep incline and steps up from the beach .

Had an absolutely amazing stay and Susan was informative and made the whole experience as relaxing as possible. Amazing views at the location and the hot tub made it even better. Cannot fault a single thing with this location and we will definitely be booking again! Would definitely recommend to others.

We had a great stay in a really well appointed apartment in a good spot in town. It was so easy to arrive, park, find our way in and work out important things like the heating. The space was really clean, nicely decorated and furnished, and there were lots of little touches that showed our host was really considerate and had thought about what would make the stay comfortable. Loads of great info in the welcome folder. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Close to the beach and a lovely pub /restaurant. The large kitchen table was ideal for our family get together. Very peaceful location we would love to return.

Lovely quirky holiday property, for a great break. The enclosed courtyard off the front room was very useful and safe for the dog to take her out when needed. Great location just a few minutes walk through the beautiful village to the beach. Enjoyed the local pubs and the walk to Seaton which is part of the South West coastal path. Some lovely cafes on the beach where you can have b'fast or lunch on the pebbles. Great friendly host (Steve) with clear instructions for check in and private parking spot. Only a short break this time but would return to this property and to see more of the area.

The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed with plenty of parking for all 3 of our cars. Goodrington was a lovely sun trap out of the wind, we loved Cantina! The beds were so comfy and every room so light & spacious.

Great house in a great location! Chris is a great host, very responsive and helpful. As for the house, it's very spacious, clean and well equipped. Parking was very easy, rooms were spacious and the location is super. We had a great stay with two primary aged children and four adults, lots to do in Paignton and all very short walk from the house. Would definitely stay again.

We spend a week at Ringmore, but could have easily stayed several weeks due to the lovely atmosphere of the cottage, the village and the attractive surrounding. House and garden are beautiful. You can feel at home instantly. The house is bright and friendly and well equipped. The beautiful surrounding invites to stray around, walk to the beach, enjoy the landscape, walk the coastal path starting from the house at Ayrmer Cove, a small beach with amazing rocks. And have dinner at the Journeys End Inn with a very nice variety of food and of course ales. There are many more things to explore: lovely villages, churches, cathedrals, ports, gardens, museums, estuarys, Dartmoor, great coast ... The host Anna was very nice and gave us lots of information. Thanks a lot for staying at this special place and experiencing a wonderful atmosphere!

We had a four night stay with our friends, there we 8 of us in total and it was absolutely perfect for us all. The living, dining, cooking space was exactly what I was hoping it would be and the weather was even good enough to have the bifold doors open which was so good to have the outside in! A really comfortable space to relax and enjoy each others company. Sophie was incredible from start to finish, she was fantastic at responding to any queries and totally kept us updated with everything we needed to know. She also was extremely flexible with our arrival and departure times so we didn't feel rushed at all- thank you Sophie! Also a fabulous little walk to Burgh Island and great beaches. Highly recommended 5*

Really enjoyed ourselves. The weather was good. Anyone we had dealings on the site was very friendly and helpful. We'd stay again. The dogs lived it!

This house was beautiful with beautiful views and a lovely garden. The house was bigger than I expected which was perfect for what I needed it for. Would highly recommend.

Matthew was a fantastic host, extremely prompt with his reply clear instructions and plenty of recommendations. the apartment was better than the pictures. beautifully decorated, with so much space. Location is in the heart of the town so perfect for a seaseaside break in a Teignmouth. We will definitely be booking again!

Right from first contact Lynne was helpful, kind and generous, and her apartment is beautiful and equipped with absolutely everything that you could need or want. The views from the balcony are incredible and the apartment is only minutes from the beach, cafés, pubs and restaurants. We have stayed in quite a few apartments around the marina, but this by far has been the best.

The place was lovely and everything we needed for our weekend away. The town was in walking distance which worked perfectly for us when we wanted to have a drink and the room itself was clean, tidy, spacious and just ideal for what we needed. We both had a lovely stay here and highly recommend it to anyone who is hoping to go to Salcombe.

A lovely, comfortable place to stay, with everything you need and in a great location, close to the beach as well as the town centre, but quiet as well. And best of all, the flat has super views of the Estuary and the spectacular sunsets. Jennifer is a great host, helpful and friendly. We've had a very relaxing break, and definitely hope to be back. Highly recommend.

The fact that this has been our third stay at this cosy little flat says it all really. It's a little bolt hole of heaven. The location is superb, in the heart of Teignmouth but quiet and peaceful with free on street parking nearby. The little garden has the sun all day and there are ample sunbeds and seating for two. Our host Luke couldn't be more welcoming and the little treats of Prosecco and Devon tea is a welcome respite after after a long trip. Thank you so much Luke.

Had a fantastic sunny April week in Dawlish; the town centre is in easy walking distance for anything you need and the station is less than five minutes away with direct trains to Exeter and Cornwall. I didn’t touch my car once. The place is ideal for a getaway, tucked away in a side street with no passing traffic, and all the facilities you’d want to keep yourself busy for the week. I’ll definitely be back… just hope the weather is as kind again!

Perfect place to stay with my elderly parents for some house hunting in Seaton. Walkable to Local shops and restaurants, disabled parking almost right outside with no time limit. Helen also organised a parking permit for the local handy parking which I used too. The living space was open plan and very comfortable. Helen provided some milk and other extras which was kind and super useful. The bedrooms were pretty and nicely done and there was a lovely hot shower. Helen was super helpful.

The room was adequate, as described, very clean and with well equipped kitchenette in the master bedroom, handy for simple breakfasts in the morning. The car port for 2 cars was very handy. The walk to the town wasn’t very easy as quite steep in parts, we opted to park at the Marina parking down the Quay side for convenience instead as was with buggy and a little baby. Martin personally gave us a lot of suggestions for small trips which was brilliant as without which, we would not have been able to visit Blackpool beach and Totnes town. We have been to Torquay quite a few times but have not been to these places, so very helpful indeed. Will highly recommend the place. Thank you Martin.
