Stayed for one night for a local event. Lovely cottage. Comfortable sofa and beds. Fully equipped kitchen. Loved the pictures on the walls. Would love to return for a longer stay.

Booked for a long weekend visiting Friends in the North. We've stayed in dozens of holiday cottages over the years; Hunnypot had the best equipped kitchen of any of them. It was spotlessly clean, warm and looked newly decorated. The only setback was that the road outside the house is narrow, as it makes clear in the specs; if you have a larger car you may not be able to get it through the lane let along park it there. Our rented Mazda CX-5 (7' wide including the wing mirrors) wouldn't fit and I had to reverse it back down the lane. This isn't really a problem as there's plenty of space near the pub on the wider (and still quiet) West Road a two-minute walk away, just be prepared and if you have a large vehicle don't be like me, don't try to get it through in the first place. The village pub is down-to-earth and friendly and the delights of Richmond only a few minutes drive. Beamish Living Museum was a great place to visit and well worth the forty-minute drive. We'd stay here again.

Check-in was super easy, and the home is beautiful and very spacious. We especially loved the charming pink bathroom! The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. For the size of the home, the price was fantastic, and it’s located very close to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend! Thankyou :)

Lovely stay with great hosts. House is perfect for a few days in Darlington and is a short walk into town.

We were a family of 6 and stayed for the weekend. The house was lovely, well presented and spacious. Nice countryside location and lots around to do but need to drive.

A Home Away from Home in Yorkshire" Our holiday at Laura’s cottage flew by far too quickly! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome and at ease. The cottage was spotless and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful little touches that made it feel just like home. It had everything we needed—even those little items you’d always have handy in your own house, which made our stay even more comfortable. The peaceful farm setting was simply lovely. We enjoyed watching the cows, sheep, and chickens, and we were delighted by the little squirrel that visited the garden. The tranquility of the place was just perfect—so calm and relaxing. A special mention to Laura’s mum and dad, who were incredibly warm and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our chats with them, which made our stay even more memorable. If you’re looking for a cozy, peaceful retreat in Yorkshire, this is the perfect place. We can’t recommend it enough and would love to return!

We had a fantastic stay! The location is excellent - peaceful and surrounded by beautiful walking routes. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and just as described. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made everything easy from start to finish. The only minor downside was the amount of debris from the surrounding trees on the patio, which made it a bit tricky to avoid tracking it into the house. Still, it didn’t take away from an otherwise relaxing and enjoyable getaway. We’d definitely love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay! The space was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had such a calm, peaceful vibe. The bed and sofa were incredibly comfortable- we slept so well. The setting was idyllic, with sheep and chickens just outside the window, which added so much charm. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like fresh milk and delicious scones on arrival. There were plenty of amenities available, making the stay feel easy and comfortable. Highly recommend!
