We stayed at Scott’s place for a night whilst visiting Glenworth Valley. It’s in a beautiful location and feels rustic and in flow with the natural outdoors. The hot tub is a nice edition and the fire pit is great for winter. The kitchen is slightly dated, but adequately equipped. The separate bedroom and bathroom are a really nice edition. Scott is great with communication and his friends welcomed us really warmly when we arrived.

The places was clean and easy to find. It had everything we needed and extra. The other guests on this short vacation walked and and were just wow-ed by how the place looked. It was a great stay! Thank you so much for approving our booking!

Our holiday at Helen's lakeside property was absolutely fantastic! The location could not have been more perfect, right in front of a serene lake with picture-perfect scenery. The view from the property was breathtaking, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and memorable stay. The spacious outdoor deck allowed us to fully enjoy the natural beauty around us, whether we were having meals, playing games, or simply soaking in the view. Inside, the house was just as impressive—spacious, immaculate, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that Helen has taken great care in maintaining the property, and it made our family feel right at home. What made this holiday even more special was the fact that it was a multi-generational trip with our children and grandchildren. This is such a beautiful property with great amenities, it was clean and felt like a home. we had such a fun time being here! especially the teenage kids, one of our best holidays. They wanted to go back as soon as we left. And thank you so much to julie she made the experience so much more enjoyable with her quick and friendly responses. Check in was simple and smooth, the directions and house rules were so easy to follow, even check out was a breeze, would love to visit again. thanks again for giving us the opportunity to enjoy your amazing home.

The house is in a great position at lake Macquarie with lots of fun to offer. The house and each bedroom were delightfully decorated to add enjoyment to the stay. It’s a wonderful experience we have had. On the down side I would say if beds could be more comfy with better mattress that would be good. Will appreciate if have more floor towels or mop since floor is wet with lots of water activities expected. Shame we have no bbq we could use but we understand the reason. The main couch is a big old and smelly otherwise the home and stay have been perfect.

Yvonne was one of the most responsive hosts I have dealt with. It was wonderful to have someone who truly cared about our getaway experience. We appreciated her local knowledge & beautifully appointed home on the lake. There is every amenity that you could ever think of needing or wanting, with clear instructions provided. Our second time staying, such a beautiful location and great family house.

Peaceful, homely and unique stay. Our son and dog absolutely loved the place and it’s a great place to escape the busyness of life and reconnect with nature and each other. Tessa was quick and friendly and the check in process was simple. It’s a lovely area and community and the church is unique and fully equipped to cater perfectly to families, couples and pets :) we will be back! Thank you Tessa and family x

It was very easy dealing with Stephanie from booking to check out. Very welcoming and the cottage was clean and tidy. Beautiful property with horses and other live stock which we were free to interact with. We took our 2 dogs who had plenty of space to run around in the enclosed area in front of the cottage and the neighbouring paddock (free of other animals). Great experience and one I highly recommend.

Well appointed. So many items supplied in kitchen and bathrooms that I have not seen at any other AIRBNB. Easy access. Very clean and well stocked with cleaning items and supplies incase of an accident or spill so you clean up and continue to enjoy your stay. Location close to cafes and restaurants at Lemon Tree Passage. So many recreational items in shed to help you enjoy the coastal location and water ways. Julie took the time to reach out to us when we did not reply to emails as we were travelling and not opening our laptop and lodging in every day about dietary requirements re type of milk to put in fridge. In conclusion well done Julie you are a credit as a super host.

We had an amazing stay! The place was fantastic – clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. Kate was incredibly responsive and friendly, making everything super easy. The jetty was a highlight, with plenty of activities to keep us entertained. Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun getaway!

Beautiful neighbourhood and friendly neighbours. A lovely little cottage with everything you need and the right amount of space inside without it being cluttered. A nice 40 minute walk into town. I enjoyed the peace and tranquillity, a place to reset yourself. Thank you Bec.

The cottage is great — nothing fancy, but very well-equipped. The location, the view, and the lagoon in the backyard are absolutely amazing. It's a wonderful place to stay. The only downside was that the listing mentioned a firepit, but when I asked the hosts, they said there wasn't one due to safety risks. That was a bit disappointing. However, the communication with the hosts was excellent.

We had a lovely stay at this waterfront property. The views were stunning and the little touches, like a bottle of wine on arrival, were a nice addition. The host was friendly and accommodating making sure we had everything we needed. It’s a great spot for a relaxing getaway and we’d happily stay again!

4 days at Captains Cabin was so relaxing. We went kyacking around the island & to Lovetts. Fished off the jetty & caught so many different types of fish. Flathead, Snapper, Brim, Flounder, Whiting... Scotland Island is full of lovely alternate locals wandering by & wildlife.

Great cabin located inside the Eaglereach Wilderness retreat. This particular cabin was nice and private, tucked away from the other houses. It had everything we needed for a comfy stay, and enough games to keep our kids entertained on a VERY rainy day! The facilities in the complex are great too: pool, outdoor gym, playground, small dam (for paddling), tennis court and rec room with pool table and ping pong table. A great holiday spot, all within east reach of Sunday. Sensational views too!

We’ve stayed before, it was again lovely

A fantastic stay in a rustic cabin. Mackerel Beach is a stunning spot, and this cabin makes the most of it with an incredible upper deck offering breathtaking views—not to mention what might be the best outdoor shower I’ve ever experienced! The perfect escape from the city to unwind and explore the simple things — cooking, bush trails, walks and swimming. We took our two young boys who loved it (they were also absolutely fine making the journey up to the cabin).

Great little place for our family stay, we we two adults and two children (1 and 6 years old). Beds were very comfy. Really helpful and friendly host.

Liz and Larry are exceptional hosts. On arrival after settling in Liz and Larry introduced themselves and showed me where the kayaks were, supplied extra life jackets and gave me a general run down. I found them to be down to earth and friendly, whilst also professional and very respectful of privacy. The cabin is to the rear ( street side) with a little side access to the creek. Impeccably clean, comfortable beds, everything you could need and thought has gone into what you will need /want for your stay. The kayaks are great and handy by the creek, plenty of outdoor seating, if I needed anything very responsive. Kitchen is great with everything well stocked to cook and clean. It rained for much of our stay, but that didn’t stop us enjoying the creek, beach, riding around, and enjoying the walks and waterfalls that the rain provided. Check in and check out is a breeze, I can’t wait to get back to my favourite place ever ( Patonga ) and Patonga cabin has the right price, and hosts.

We had a lovely stay at Astrid’s riverside cabin. It was a lovely, secluded weekend away. We enjoyed kayaking on the river and Col who did the boat transfers for us was fantastic as well. Would highly recommend as a couples getaway.

Staying on the river was paradise. It was beautiful - especially from the deck! My only two suggestions is to share there is no wifi and that the beds are pushed up against a wall. Also, at least for us, there was no data connection. We were able to go into town and use the cafe wifi, but if we had seen in advance (there was a message about no wifi at the bottom of the description), we would have prepared better for working remotely. Also for older people, the beds only allow one person to get out and the other person has a wall they sleep along. Other than these two minor items that can be communicated in the description, the accommodation, the location and all of the extras are excellent. We enjoyed the bbq, the kayaks, the hammock and the firepit. Everything was comfortable and the a/c was helpful sleeping at night when there was a controlled burn. We definitely recommend staying here.
