Shallow Bay was beautiful, so cute, and very clean. The kitchen has everything you need. The covered deck is very large and we loved having coffee in the morning and nightcap in evening out there. It is super quiet and peaceful along with well landscaped and maintained lot. Jeannette the local contact person is extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions and tours. I would definitely come back and recommend staying here.

Although our stay was very brief, we could not recommend this place enough!! Fernando and Rebecca were always available and even helped us carry luggage inside. They were very accommodating and friendly and we couldn't have asked for more! the home is absolutely beautiful with stunning views. The beach is right out the front door with plenty of seating options and a private pier. we did not get to utilize the kayaks or bikes but definitely will boom a longer trip next time. This home is a 1minute walk from the more tourist side of Hopkins, including more "resort style" restaurants. Food at the Barracuda next door was incredible. Trues local Hopkins is just a 20minute walk away with great store and vendor options! Can't wait until we can visit again.

Beautiful location and accomodations. Looks just like the pictures. Tracy was very available and helpful with any questions. He showed my daughter how to husk a coconut and get to the "milk". Easy ride into the village (we rented a car from the airport). Minutes from both Sittee River marinas. 45 minutes or so to Bocawina. Nice having a kayak available when not too windy. Caught a fish off the pier.

We had a great stay at Wagiya Flats. The home is exactly as pictured and described - modern luxury build, in the heart of the central Hopkins Village. The home is very spacious, very clean and well equipped (with great AC!) It is a luxury home within the local neighborhood with walkable proximity to the beach and restaurants. The team at Flowers Vacation Rentals was friendly with easy and responsive communications. Finally, the roof deck was a great bonus. Huge with views of the neighborhood and hammocks that the kids loved.

Incredible home and above and beyond service! The entire staff was helpful from the planning stages with the concierge to the friendly onsite staff (who were by no means intrusive—it was amazing how much they cleaned compared to how little we saw them). The chef was also outstanding! He made delicious, well-portioned meals and cleaned up after each one. I will point out that the distance to the city center (Placencia) was about a 25 minute drive. Franco was able to schedule taxis for us which was great when our full group of 10 wanted to go out together (note: request a taxi with AC!). We had rented a car which was nice for getting groceries/quick trips. I recommend getting liquor at the duty-free store in the airport (BZE) as it is more expensive in placencia. The grocery stores are also very limited so bring any favorite snacks ;)

Beatuful location and well maintained. Both private and shared outdoor space was amazing! AC kept the bedrooms a perfect temperature at night and with the bedroom doors open the rest of the place was comfortable. Great recommendations from the onsite staff for local restaurants too!

Beautiful, pristine place at the far end of the village. It was gorgeous, had all the amenities you could or would want. The staff was incredibly friendly, the pool was excellent, everything was very nice! We did not care for the restaurant, Embers, however that did not detract from our stay as the village is very accessible and that's where the best local food is anyway!

What a wonderful stay in Belize. Although the property is 2.5hrs away from the international airport, it was WELL WORTH the drive to the beautiful and peaceful peninsula. Be sure to get exact location (AirBnb 'get directions' takes you 30 minutes past property). The home is BEAUTIFUL, very clean, and looks much like the listing. The pool and beachfront was nice especially for the 3yr old. Any questions we had were addressed and we were given great recommendations. If you want a massage, book Alba from Secret Jewel Spa services. Looking to fish, Nauti by Nature was bomb. And we enjoyed Monkey River. Maya Bistro (6 min away from house) saw us DAILY ... the food was delicious. If you're undecided about this property.. don't delay, BOOK TODAY!! You can thank me later. :-) 10/10 and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Fantastic beach house perfect for your large family getaway. The pool is sparkling clean and refreshing. You will have your own private resort feel staying at the Moonrise Beach House. So much to do right from the property! We enjoyed the kayak and paddle boards, rinsing the beach off in the outdoor shower, then plunging in the pool. The kitchens are fully stocked to really feel at home preparing any meal. Anna and Geoff had fantastic recommendations for local spots. We recommend having a car rental to grocery shop and get around to all the adventures nearby. Book this house, you'll love your trip!
