Fernwood Forest

This is a 1500 square ft. true log cabin in the woods adjoining 9,000 acres of Chattahoochee National Forest. The home is on a small creek in a valley by Taylor's Ridge with private trails to the top of the mountain. There is a large fireplace in the den. Though it is a rustic setting we have great WIFI and streaming, two 4K HDR TVs. We have space and facilities for dog and horse owners. Cloudland Canyon, Jarrod's Place Bike Park, Dalton, GA, and Chattanooga, TN are close enough to visit.

Welcome to Country Green - a light, airy residence situated in the peaceful, rural Cherokee Valley. The house is roughly halfway between historic Ringgold and Collegedale/SAU/Apison. We cater for 6, but that can be expanded to 8 with the use of a large beanbag that morphs into a queen-size mattress. The house has 4 large ROKU TVs and FiberOptic WiFi with a speed of 500. The hosts live about 400 feet from Country Green if you have any questions or needs.

You will be just a couple of minutes from the interstate (75). 20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga and 20 minutes from Dalton, Georgia. You are one mile from a grocery store, and several fast food restaurants. You are just a 10 minute drive to Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia which has Walmart and many places to eat and shop.
