This place really took us by surprise. We drove 5.5 hours each way, just to visit and our biggest regret was not booking longer! Worth every bit of the money and drive. The place was private and peaceful. Very safe and secure and very quiet so you can really enjoy yourself. Really feels like you have the whole place and surrounding areas to yourself! Utensils and appliances wise you could see Jane has real care and attention to detail, everything you could need or think of was provided. And that too of high quality not just your budget items. The bbq was a proper bbq which was a joy to use. The hot tub come with lighting and jets. Even the pots and pans were tefal! A lot of time and money has gone into it all. Garden was well lit also for those late evenings. Was lovely to meet Ben also. So much more to say but we won’t ruin all the delightful surprises! Very happy with the stay and we will be back for sure. Thank you! And see you next time.

Great stay at the Lookout Lodge! Jo was always on hand to provide help and the facilities have everything you need. Brilliant views and a relaxing time had! Will definitely be returning and recommending to family and friends!

Amazing break away. Peaceful setting, stunning views. A great place to switch off and relax. Nick was a great host from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend the breakfast box.

My family and I stayed Monday to Friday, fabulous site, the lodge was perfect for us and the staff really helpful. Lovely stay.

Brilliant two nights stay for my partners birthday, the lodge is lovely, clean and very spacious. The hot tub was great. We will definitely be back.

The surroundings to this location don’t do the pictures for this air bnb justice, it’s just beautiful. We were so lucky to be there while the lambs were still young and the sun was shining. All of the animals were adorable and it was super peaceful and stress free. Emma is a wonderful host, we will definitely be back!

We loved our getaway at Mandy's. Really lovely space and the hot tub was a massive bonus. Mandy was very responsive and when we requested some extra wine glasses they appeared (brand new) within the hour. The only negative was there are no pubs within walking distance, though you can easily hop on the train to knaresborough or Harrogate if you need to. I will say the space is more overlooked than the pictures make it look as it is right on the hosts property, not a deal breaker for me but worth noting!

Just returned from a lovely weekend in the lodge. The lodge was very cosy, lovely log burner. Private and peaceful location. All amenities provided. Would definitely return.

Sandra's place was perfect for our short stay in Yorkshire. We particularly enjoyed the outside space and seeing the ducks.

Stayed at Emma’s place for 3 days & wished we had booked for longer, had everything we needed, loved the welcoming gift of chocolates & a bottle of wine. The Costa machine was so nice & a lovely touch. We had lots of walks with the dogs on our doorstep & lovely views of the lake. Will definitely return 😍

We've just returned from a short stay at my happy hounds. Our glamping pod Hugo was absolutely perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and was absolutely spotless considering these are dog friendly. The welcome pack was also a nice touch with all quality items. We have 2 dogs one that is very nervous, he settled in well as it was peaceful and private and having ample space for them to run and play at the pod and the secure dog fields, these are a great facility for anyone traveling with a dog. It's only a short drive to find local amenities and finding my happy hounds was easy with Google maps being accurate. The communication from Harry was excellent with plenty of information and help if needed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and have already started talking of booking again for the future. We had a fantastic few days away at the Maple Pod and absolutely loved it. The lodge was cosy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The surroundings were stunning – peaceful countryside views, fresh air, and the charm of being on a working farm really made it special. Waking up to the sounds of nature was such a treat. Lucy was a wonderful host – welcoming, helpful, and easy to communicate with. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil escape.

The Niblet is in a beautiful hillside position. Watching the wildlife from the hottub (Rabbits, Red Kite, Lambs, horses) was wonderful creating the was the most relaxing retreat. A great location to explore the North York moors.

Great place to stay for a night walking the Wolds Way. Loved the tranquil setting with the pond. Excellent bathroom and kitchen facilities.

Lovely lodge and as the pictures. Very spacious with plenty of space for the 4 adults and 2 children. A great space overall and full of everything you need. Great value

A beautiful couple of nights stay at Chris’ Airbnb. Could not fault the cabin one bit, it was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. The outdoor area and hot tub were also spotless and very clean. We would come back here in a heartbeat and will be recommending to friends!

We were a family of 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog and Sharon’s cabin was lovely and clean and perfect for a few days away. It was kitted with everything we needed and more but the smart TV, reclining sofas, electric fireplace and the coffee machine were such a bonus. Sharon was very quick to respond to a few queries and also super friendly. We’d definitely come back, thank you for having us 😊

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean on arrival with plenty of fresh towels for both the hot tub and the shower. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The hot tub was checked twice daily, so felt assured the hot tub was clean and safe to use. James was responsive and helpful when messaged. There was a lovely walk nearby too. The space felt peaceful and private.

We stayed here as a part of my partners birthday celebrations. This was our first time staying somewhere like this and the lodge was everything we could have wished for and more!! The check-in process was clear and easy. The lodge was well decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to have a great, relaxing weekend. The location was perfect, so beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub was an obvious stand out for us, very warm and relaxing. Overall our stay was perfect and we could not fault our lodge and are already discussing coming back later in the year! We have also recommended to our families who are also interested.

Wow!!! Booked this as a surprise for my husband’s 40th and we were truly blown away!! Absolutely stunning, this really is perfect for a couples retreat! No expense spared inside the lodge and out! We both loved it, fantastic facilities, Gemma really has thought of everything! Love that you are left to please yourselves and it really was an effortless check in. Just what we needed - and more. A local base to bed-down whilst visiting family nearby - without getting under their feet too much. All clean, tidy and cosy. Kate was super-welcoming - showing us to the door and checking we could operate the heating, etc. A lovely setting, right on the waterfront. A handy location for the new Vermuyden Way parkrun which has recently started in Belton/Sandtoft.

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at Pete’s cabin. It was lovely and peaceful. The hot tub was amazing. Pete was always on hand to help re heat the hot tub. The fresh eggs from the hens were a great addition and were very tasty! Overall it was an amazing stay and would highly recommend Pete’s cabin to anyone wanting a lovely peaceful get away!
