With 20-foot vaulted ceilings, massive picture windows, a fireplace to curl up next to, and just minutes from some of the most stunning lakes in the state, it’s the perfect home base for exploring or doing nothing at all.

We offer 2 kayaks to use (must transport) cornhole boards & bags, trail riding your UTV/ORV, hiking, rafting at Jordan Valley Outfitter, snowmobiling. & many fine dining restaurants, several ski resorts and short day trips! The resort includes year round excitement including 5 golf courses, restaurants, skiing, hiking trails, and multiple indoor/outdoor pools. The town itself has unique shops as well as great local food and beverage options. Bellaire is also near popular destinations including Traverse City, Petoskey, and Charlevoix.

Relax around a camp fire in the evening or listen to the birds in the morning (you can often hear the loons early in the morning). This was built new in spring of 2025 and ready for your up north experience. Just 3 miles from Bellaire, 6 miles from Schuss Mountain for golf and skiing. 45 minutes from Traverse City and Petoskey. The perfect launching point for all NW Michigan has to offer.

Unit #121 at the base of Schuss Mountain

Unit 121 is located at the top of Schuss Mountain Lodge. It is within walking distance from some of Northern Michigan's best skiing and golfing. Not to mention, it's only 15 minutes away from Short's Brewery in Bellaire. Unit 121 is located on the second floor and there is not an elevator. This is a one room hotel-like unit. You can sleep four — two on a foldout and two on a queen bed — in the same room. Private bathroom. Very close to the ski hills.
