Jessica's communication was awesome and she is a fantastic host overall. The apartment is very nice and the location is also great as longa s you don't mind walking-- about a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the Duck boardwalk. Lots of shops right nearby within a 5 minute walk too. The only caveat I'd say for the unit is it's not ideal for traveling with a toddler (which is no fault of the host nor really a negative in and of itself-- not every unit needs to be). The windows of the 2nd bedroom are south facing and we had a hard time getting it dark enough for nap time even with our own blackout curtains, and there are about 20 steps to walk up to the 2nd floor unit. The open floor plan is great, but also makes it a little hard to toddler proof. Again, not a negative, but just something to be aware for families traveling with young kids.

We loved our stay at Karen’s place. The apartment is very comfortable, and the views are spectacular. I wish we had more time to enjoy the offerings. We hope to come back again!

What a fabulous stay we had at this lovely “apt” inside the home of Mary and Larry. We made sure to use all spaces …all decking (sitting outside in the sun with my coffee and book was so joyful), laundry and the firepit on a beautiful starry evening. Both Mary and Larry made sure we had everything we needed….from arriving home to see the firepit all set up and ready to go, making sure the Blackstone grill was ready to rock and roll ( the grill made the best steak I’ve had in a very long time!), but ultimately Mary and Larry just wanted to make sure we had no wants or needs. The unit was so lovely! So comfortable! So organized! We appreciated all the suggestions and chats! Thank you!

Our stay was perfect. We enjoyed the pool and the easy access to the beach. We were close to everything, but felt like we were in a more rural setting.

A tad outdated with appliances / overall room but the unit was in a great location, very clean, and had the necessities for a great weekend away! The resort itself has plenty of amenities to keep kids or adults happy!

This studio was perfect for the two of us. It was very clean and nicely decorated. Everything looked brand new. The location was spectacular and we enjoyed sitting on the deck to enjoy the scenery and the peacefulness. In addition to the lovely area, the studio was in walkable distance to everything such as the beach, restaurants, the Whalehead, the park, the horse tours ( which we did), and the lighthouse, which was right down the street. We loved riding the bikes which were included with the rental. We would love to go back.

If you are headed to Elizabeth City, you have to stay at Harbour Place! It is immaculate, stylish, and walkable to everything in downtown. Michael is an exceptionally hospitable host. It was quiet and private as well. Slept like a dream. And he really has thought of everything. This Air BNB is top tier! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful Spring Break in OBX! Some details: THE CONDO - Very clean/well-decorated space with large waterview primary bedroom. Views of the water from kitchen and living room too! Amazing sunsets over water from the deck big highlight. Mattressess, bedding, towels very nice. Helpful to have some beach towels. Enjoyed dock, tennis courts, indoor pool. THE AREA - Great location between Duck and Southern Shores. Back from main road and quiet area/not commercial but close to small-town Duck conveniences and boardwalk for seeing birds and turtles. Could walk to beach. Had lovely runs in shade on sidewalk of main road. Amazing shell-hunting and teens liked smoothie places, mini-golf, dunes, and beach of course. Weather in April really cooperated/lots of sun and 70s.

I have been visiting Duck since 1983 and have stayed at many houses over the years. This is our second year in a row at the house and we will be back next year! Everything you need is there - the "little" things that some other homes don't have; like sandwich baggies, tinfoil, hand soap, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, etc. The house is perfectly located - a quick walk or bike ride to the ocean or the same right in to the middle of Duck. The hot tub is AMAZING and probably my family's favorite part. Beds are comfortable, everything functions well and the house is clean and well-organized. Plenty of nice extras provided as well - bikes, beach gear, lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, a wagon to transport it all. We just love it here, thank you for sharing your home!

We loved staying at Michael's place! Great location- a quick 10 minute walk through a quiet neighborhood to get to a private beach. The restaurant across the street was great and it is a 30-minute walk to get to the main street of Duck. A great home for our dog as well. We would absolutely stay here again!

The River House was the perfect getaway for a month. The location is removed enough to feel peaceful and serene, yet a quick drive into town for groceries didn’t feel daunting. Some highlights: - The sunroom is a huge perk and we loved reading in there - Hosts provided lots of fun ways to enjoy the property and water - kayaks, floaties, outdoor seating, fire pit, etc - Joan is the nicest, friendliest point of contact. Couldn’t have asked for a better host - The entire house is super well stocked, including anything & everything you could need in the kitchen, tons of extra towels, and snuggly blankets to use on the couch

Great spot in a mature neighborhood. Kids loved the arcade room. Appreciated the beach parking pass.

James was very responsive and quick to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The home is cute and quirky - looks just like the photos! The only thing that was confusing was that sheets and towels are not included in the listing. This was not immediately clear from the listing page. When we were told this a couple days before our trip, James was very accommodating, though, and helped us sort out the issue. All in all a very pleasant experience with a very nice front porch!

Amazing place to stay if you wanna be close to the beach! - home looks exactly like the pictures and has great amenities / room space is good!

Nice quite location

My family of four had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in the Outer Banks! The location couldn’t have been better — just a short walk to the beach, and close to activities for the kids and nearby restaurants. The home was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. My kiddos loved the bunk beds! I loved the peaceful vibe of the neighborhood too — it felt like a perfect beach retreat. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, beachside stay in OBX!

Wonderful location. Perfect size place for our family (2 adults, 1 child, and one dog). Walkable to the beach (a block away) historic Corolla, the park, restaurants. Lynn was fantastic. Responsive, provided great recommendations and her place was clean, cozy, quiet, and had all the amenities we needed. Would happily stay here again.

This condo was absolutely perfect! Beautifully renovated, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches. The ocean views from the living room and master bedroom were stunning, and the location—just steps from the beach and a short walk to Duck’s shops and restaurants—couldn’t be better. The kitchen was fully stocked and a joy to cook in, and the beds (with Kingsdown mattresses!) were incredibly comfortable. We loved the added amenities like sound machines, board games, a washer/dryer, and access to pools and a hot tub. Check-in was easy with keyless entry, and the host was responsive and welcoming. Every detail was considered to make our stay feel like home. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing Outer Banks getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely condo in Corolla! The location was perfect for us, being a short walk to the beach and a short drive to nearby stores. The condo was SUPER clean and had everything we needed for our stay! Host was very responsive and helpful. We will certainly be booking this place again in the future!

Lynn was an amazing host. So easy to reach and helpful. The location is ideal as you can walk to the beach and to the park, lighthouse and sound. There are also walkable restaurants near by so we didn’t need to move the car.

We loved our Christmas stay at Paul and Scot's. The condo is BEAUTIFUL. Even prettier than the pictures. It was a very peaceful and comfortable stay. Scot was very friendly and communicative. Overall an excellent experience.
