Cumberland River: soggiorni in cottage

Had a great time spending Valentine's weekend at the cabin with my girlfriend! Unforunately it rained the entire time, but we knew what we were getting into by going in February. Despite this, we still had a great time! The cabin was clean, comfortable, cozy, and well maintained. The view was great, even with the less than ideal weather. My only complaint is that the indoor fireplace is turned off due to insurance restrictions, but otherwise it had everything we could have wanted.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and the view was absolutely beautiful. It was also very close to town which made everything super convenient. Randy was very responsive and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Would definitely stay again!

Exactly as described and worked great for our trip. Easy in and out of downtown Gatlinburg and Roaring Fork Road being right around the corner was perfect for drives to look for black bears. Had a wonderful time here!

Melanie was wonderful! She was very easy to reach and had a very quick response time. She provided clear check in and check out instructions. The cabin was nice and in a quiet location, which was relaxing and peaceful.

Place was very clean. Hosts were very accommodating, even switching the refrigerator within a couple hours after notification that is was making a noise. Overall a very good experience. Thank you!

Sweet little cottage. The deck would be great for coffee in the morning and meals, but was a little chilly this week. My dog got to enjoy it, as there are no steps so she could be off leash for awhile. Everything was as pictured and nice and clean.

This was our second stay here at the cozy cabin. We love the country setting and the great price. It’s not fancy but it’s comfy and clean! Love the new couch and the tv works and Wi-Fi work great! The owners are very responsive but give total privacy. We will probably always stay here when visiting our adult children that live down here. Only thing we’d change is the barking dogs across the street. But we can’t be too mad at any doggos! Probably they are keeping away the bears! By the way, this place is very dog friendly which is good because one of our daughters brings her dog when visiting with us there.

I chose to stay at Alex and Donna’s place after researching several options, and their outstanding reviews really stood out — I’m so happy my experience matched them perfectly! Every question I had was answered quickly and thoroughly. It seemed like there was new furniture recently added, like the living room couch, which was a huge plus! The home was very well kept with many thoughtful upgrades — beautiful bathroom, stylish furniture, smart home features throughout, and plenty of amenities. I would highly recommend staying here! We felt very much at home, and my sons absolutely loved the "game" bedroom and the hot tub!

This will be our second time staying at Carolyn's Airbnb spot. Very much what was expected from the first stay and glad for consistency. Definitely planning to continue to stay here in the future as work requires out of town travel. The location is very much a benefit along with the ease to enter and the cleanliness and simplicity of the home. Wonderful, bravo.

Cozy is a great description! We loved our stay. A little bit of traffic noise but not bad at all. It was so lovely sitting outside by the creek. Not a fan of the shower at all. Overall wonderful and we would stay again.

This quaint and charming home cabin was the PERFECT spot for a quick weekend getaway hiking trip. It backs up to the beautiful woods and is so quiet and peaceful. Sitting on the porch was such a highlight. It rained most of the time we were there so we couldn’t use the bonfire pit, but when we come back we definitely plan to! And yes, we will be back! Everything was so cozy and lovely. Amenities, offerings, the vibes, the aesthetics, PERFECT. Even the small things like the K-Cups and the toiletries if we needed anything. Oh! And the really cool history books and things to do! We will be back🥰

The Tin Cottage was the perfect place for us to stay with our dog. It’s just the right size for a couple (and a dog) with plenty of room and pretty much every amenity, appliance, and linen you could ever need (including food and water bowls for your canine friend). The cottage itself is quite charming, but the landscaping and decor outside was amazing- it’s only a pity that the weather while we were there was such that we couldn’t enjoy it as much as we could have if it hadn’t been raining so much. We especially loved the hike down to the waterfall which was probably the only advantage to it having rained so much in that it was really running and very beautiful. The location was a bit out of town, but it put us in a good spot to head out to the different parks and hiking trails while being close enough to easily get food from in town. If you’re looking for a place for two people to stay near Cookeville, you can’t go wrong here!

Very quiet and beautiful location. The house is comfortable and well equipped. Lynn is a lovely host giving us privacy but being very available. This will be our go to place in Owensboro when we visit my sister 😀

Vickie was amazing and her home was just as great. We did a little get away for my fiancés birthday weekend. Vickie was the sweetest host with special treats when we arrived. Was accommodating since we thought we may not get in until after dark. She also sent us some great recommendations. Cumberland grill was so good (get a deck spot to see the lake). We also went to Cumberland falls and did trail #6 it was awesome. The house was beautifully kept and so cozy. Had everything we could need and more. Made us do some major future day dreaming!! We can’t wait to come back for another weekend. This is a MUST stay!! Thank you for everything ❤️
