Cumberland County: soggiorni in appartamento

Spacious and clean great location and view. Comfortable furniture. Had everything we needed. The microwave was a little funky....had trouble getting it to shut off when the door was closed. Figured out the trick to clear it though. Other than that would recommend and would stay again.

Deborah was very helpful and quick to respond. She had great suggestions on where and what to visit. The travel magazines she had on her TV stand were extremely helpful. The bed was very soft, which I love, so I slept really well. We loved the touch of having beach chairs available. The only downsides I can think of, are that the shower is very small, and it’s hard to back out of the parking space.

We enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean. The hosts were responsive and helpful. The train does go right behind the place at an intersection. The horn is very loud, which was hard for our toddler. Just something to consider if you’re traveling with infants/toddlers. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Tyson was very responsive. We appreciated the fact that there was coffee in the fridge as well as creamer. :-) Not needing to run through a move-out checklist was great and made our early morning departure less stressful. I loved that there were plenty of towels and a stocked laundry area as well as throw blankets to use while relaxing in the living room.

The location is amazing. The view is amazing as shown in the pictures. The apartment was actually pretty quiet, we couldn’t hear anyone in other units and little to no noise from the beach or bar below, though we stayed in the off-season. The balcony is huge and plenty of seating options and the living room is spacious and lots of seating. We had two young kids with us and we all had a great time. Would stay again.

Logement très bien situé pour l'accès à la plage. Très propre pour une location en fin de saison. Par contre, il faut laisser les fenêtres fermées à cause du bruit du train qui passe derrière l' immeuble. Nous avons eu un peu d' inquiétude pour la sécurité dans le voisinage lié au bar de la plage à proximité.

What a great location for a quiet stay in Portland! It’s 5 minutes by car to the Old Port and easily walkable/runnable to the Back Cove Trail and even to downtown Portland itself. The condo is lovely and just as described. My family (2 adults, 2 kids ages 3 and 7) was very comfortable during our 3-night stay. Lastly, Colin was responsive and a great host.

Mary J. Eastburn house is in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood with all the amazing bakeries and restaurants an easy 20min walk away. The Baxter Suite we stayed in was immaculate-- tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The quality of amenities provided was excellent as well. The bed was comfy and the linens smelled fresh and crisp. The towels were plump and clean, and when we requested a couple extra, Thomas promptly answered our message and delivered more towels the next day. What may not be so evident from the photos is that you must pass the bathroom to enter the bedroom (the order: main door-living room/kitchen-bathroom-bedroom); this might be something to consider, depending on who you are traveling with ;) Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay at Thomas' airbnb (better than most hotels!) and would do so again when we next visit. (Extra notes: free parking spot is a huge plus! and keyless entry is nice.)

What a great little apartment! We stayed for three nights including Christmas and were delighted to find that the place had been decorated for the holiday. The bed is extremely comfortable, the shower has good water pressure. The location is perfect: a quiet street that is 10 - 15 minutes’ walk from the old port area and countless wonderful restaurants and shops. We loved that we could bring our dog and he also gave the place two paws up. We would certainly stay here again when visiting Portland.

This is a beautiful apartment that is thoughtfully equipped with all that you need. I appreciated having a back yard with a picnic table as well as a deck. The beach is a short, lovely walk and my pups thoroughly enjoyed the early morning off-leash romps with all of the other dogs on the beach. It felt like we were in the middle of everything and at the same time could easily take a 5-10 min walk and be away from it all if wanted. Across the road is the Scratch Bakery with amazing breakfast sandwiches, treats and coffee - be prepared to stand in line. There is also the Willard Scoop shop for delicious ice cream - also very popular.

Such a perfect stay for our family of three - hosts were beyond kind / responsive and the space is laid out and decorated so nicely, it felt like home. Every room is super clean and we know the area but we’re still so thrilled at how convenient everything was - just a short drive/uber away to the best spots. We had a great experience and are already talking about coming back. 10/10

We had a lovely stay at Janis’s place. The location was amazing! Right in the quaint Old Port area and just a short block to the waterfront. The area has amazing restaurants and adorable boutiques. The condo is bigger than we expected, which was a nice plus. It had everything we needed and as super clean. Janis’s communication was superb. The beds were super comfortable, and having an elevator was great after a long day. As others have mentioned, the front bedroom can get a bit noisy, so lighter sleepers will want to choose the back bedroom. We had a wonderful time and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Had the pleasure of staying at Nick & Kayla’s great Portland space and loved everything about it- appropriately priced, great location, amenities and superior communications from them made our 3 days in Portland fabulous. The locations is perfect for people who want to become part of a neighborhood and experience the REAL Portland outside of The port.

We had an excellent stay. Both check-in & check-out were a breeze. It was amazingly quiet & the bed was super comfortable. The apartment was light & bright even on cloudy days. We loved the location, easily walkable to cafés & restaurants, a big supermarket, & the train station. We did the nearby Androscoggin Riverwalk each day. We especially enjoyed Frosty's Donuts, the Broadway Delicatessen, & the wine shop Vessel & Vine. Though we didn't meet Spencer (maybe next time!), he's an excellent communicator who responded immediately to all of my messages. Thank you, & we hope to return!

This place had everything we needed. The view was spectacular! We really enjoyed seeing fireworks from the deck. The home was very clean, kitchen fully stocked. We loved hearing live music each day and night. So much walkable fun for the kids. We had a wonderful stay!

Alice’s condo in Old Orchard Beach is exactly as advertised. It was in sparkling condition when we arrived, it’s a very short walk to the beach (when we were able to tear the kids away from the pool!), and it is the perfect distance from the center of town: close enough to walk, but far enough away to enjoy some privacy and distance from the crowds. We even managed to squeeze in a quick workout in the small gym. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much, Alice!

AMAZING!! I ended up bringing too much stuff from home because Tammy literally had everything! There was absolutely nothing I lacked or needed during this trip. Fully stocked kitchen. More than enough linens and towels. Everything we needed for the beach. I stayed in the king master bedroom and had the best sleep I’ve had in a year. The bed was sooo comfortable. We need to look no further for our annual trip to Maine because we will always choose this condo if it’s available. The only thing I suggest is a grab bar in the bathroom for handicap individuals. My sister is disabled and when we were getting her in the shower there was nothing for her to grab on to. Other than that, this place is PERFECT!!

This was our second year staying at Chandra’s place during our annual week in Maine and it was, once again, terrific. Quiet, clean and within walking distance to the beach and all Ocean Park/Old Orchard attractions. When the washing machine wasn’t working, Chandra was very responsive and immediately offered to cover our costs of using the laundromat (which she did at the end of the week). We would definitely go back again next year!

Check in is super simple and quick with friendly front desk staff. The condo has an open concept kitchen/living room which allows continuous interaction with family. 2 full bathrooms were more than enough to accommodate 4 adults and 2 children. Both bedrooms were very accommodating for all of us. You will have your own parking spot the entire length of your stay, a 2nd car will have to park in a separate lot about a block away from the actual condo. Everything you could need is in walking distance unless you want to travel outside of old orchard, you won’t need to touch your car. The best part for us with young children was how close the beach was this was a MUST for us and it was perfect. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home. We would definitely come back if you would have us again.

Great place to enjoy the beach and the neighborhood 😃
