Sharon’s horse farm is beautiful and tranquil. The little house is comfortable and has a picturesque setting. We have stayed there many times.

This home was better than advertised--so many small nice touches. Great design. Kitchen had everything and was well stocked with eggs, cereal, soup, rice, cheese and snacks plus a bottle of wine. We were at Lake of the Woods to scope out a potential purchase of a home on the water. Unfortunately, most were too big. If only Brent and Carla's home was on the water, we would have happily purchased it in a heartbeat. We will keep on looking. If we had a lot, we'd hire Brent and Carla to design and build a home.

If I could give Jennifer’s place more than 5 stars I would! The property was at the end of a seasonal road so it was very quiet. Jennifer was nice enough to leave us some eggs from her chickens that were delicious. Great place to stay if you’re trying to get away from the city for some peace and quiet

K-9 heaven was great! Very peaceful and beautiful scenery. Me, my partner and our lab were comfy in the small but cozy, clean cabin. The cabin is simple but homey! Larry had a little bit of spare firewood that was just enough for us to enjoy a small fire and some star gazing. It was little to cloudy for us to see much, but I can guarantee it would be amazing with clear skies! We had some rain on our last night and it was very relaxing and peaceful! 10/10 vibes. Our furry host, Bear, was very friendly with our dog and showed her around the farm. The horses near the cabin are friendly and love peppermints! Definitely check this place out as a home base for exploring Shenandoah National Park and Culpeper for tasty restaurants!

Great visit. Easy to find and extremely comfortable. The location was perfect distance between downtown and a city park with walking trails. 5 minute walk one way to breakfast at a diner and 5 minute walk the other way to walk a nature trail. The house had everything we needed. We liked have the individual AC in each bedroom so we could control our own temperature. The front porch with rocking chairs was really nice. We enjoyed it every evening with a cold beverage and an appearance by the neighborhood groundhog across the street. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here in the middle of a moving from one home to another and it was perfect for our needs. Pet friendly but very clean! Kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook meals. Very sweet hosts who were very accommodating with checkin and any thing we needed during our stay.

For where this property is located - you can’t do better. In fact it was probably one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at all around the country. Clean, large, and beautifully peaceful with a lot of little extras. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

Had a comfortable stay in the first floor and enjoyed stargazing at the fire pit out back.

Pictures don’t do justice. I walked into peaceful and cozy warmth and subtle and inviting music, it was an immediate stress relief. The music was nice touch, I almost kept it on the entire time! I was extremely impressed and pleased by how welcoming this cabin was and the lasting first impression all the way to the very end of the trip.
