We are located just 2 miles from downtown Palestine and 3 miles to the Texas State Railroad yet in a country setting behind a security gate with your private code. Nestled in the East Texas trees, just off a major highway sits a cozy retreat waiting for you to visit. Country style living, dining area with fully stocked kitchen for your cooking pleasure or local take out available. Morning and evening our resident deer, squirrels and birds are here for your pleasure. The stars at night are Big and Bright and a Texas sunset awaits you from the front porch. This rustic, 3/2 cabin (2/1 upstairs and a 1/1 in-law suite downstairs) nestled in the woods is the perfect hideaway to escape from the busy city life. Offering privacy and seclusion at the lake with a large wraparound deck, indoor fireplace, BBQ grill, hammocks, and a fire pit for your enjoyment, not to mention views of Lake Livingston. *NO LOUD MUSIC OR PARTIES ALLOWED* * PETS ALLOWED WITH PRIOR APPROVAL-$50 flat fee*

Couples Retreat-Secluded Pool House at Lake

Located just west of historic Nacogdoches on Lake Nacogdoches. The comfortable space for two sits behind our main house surrounded by pool, hot tub, fire pit and more. Entry is by key code for a stress free stay. Owners are usually a text or phone call away for assistance. The lake which attracts anglers year-round is a 2 minute walk from you. There you'll find two kayaks used for fishing or exploring . At night, you'll enjoy star gazing around the fire pit, as you're miles from town.

Hidden Gem Cottages: Sapphire Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The house has a king bed in the master with attached bath, a secondary bedroom with 2 queens, an additional hall bath and queen sleeper sofa in the living room. It sits on a stocked pond with a fishing pier. You will have access to fish and relax at our catch and release pond. The outdoor space also includes a patio with gas grill, large front porch overlooking the pond, covered back porch overlooking woods and a fire pit.

Located a few feet away from Trinity River, you can walk in seconds from the house. If you're searching for a peaceful and relaxing place, look no further. There is a fishing pier, public village picnic area and boat ramp. Security cameras installed outdoors only.

Relax with the whole family and friends at this peaceful cottage. Enjoy the well appointed, mostly secluded, home amid the trees. Visit in surrounding areas for antiquing, festivals, fishing, drive through safari and holiday activities. Miniature donkeys can be heard braying. 1 to 2 Small to medium size dogs welcome. Comfortable for 5 persons although 6 persons can fit. No fencing on property and the Kayak is just for decoration. Insurance stays welcome
