Cosy old cottage, close to Huntly train station

A quiet, end-terrace cottage in Huntly, off the main streets but in easy walking distance to the train station and town centre. The cosy living room is fitted with an efficient log burning stove, and you will find a basket of wood on your arrival. The kitchen is located at the back of the building with access to a small, enclosed garden perfect for a slow breakfast in the sun or an evening drink on the lawn. The Square which has one of the oldest churches in Scotland, was built in the 1700s by Sir Archibald Grant and his descendants are there to this day. The location has a great deal to offer including walks on the Monymusk Estate past the castle and beside the River Don. There are plenty of opportunities for sightseeing, cycling, and fishing with permits available from Fishpal.

Welcome to our secluded stay between Tarves and Oldmeldrum. Cosy room with plenty of outside space to enjoy. the room has tea and coffee making facilities, and a mini fridge. Also provided is continental breakfast. Although this is listed as a private room as it is part of our home, it is separate from the rest of the house with its own bathroom and front door.
