Our stay at Starlight Serene was everything we hoped it would be! John was very responsive and helpful, especially as this was our first time using AirBnB. The pictures are very accurate, there were plenty of towels, linens, and a VERY well equipped kitchen - much more than we expected (or I have in my own house, I think!). Lots of nice bonuses to this place - my kids loved the firepit and there was wood on hand as well as a s'mores kit; the hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived. You are at the narrower end of the lake, but still a beautiful view with plenty of wildlife. The location is great - roughly 30ish minutes to Bear Mountain, Legoland, and the Palisades Center (which had tons of rainy-day fun for kids). We even rented a pontoon boat from Murphy's Cove Marina - Richie was really wonderful to us and our kids and they loved their first time boating and fishing on the lake. Thanks for a great experience John!

Mougeh's place is a lovely home with ample space, toys, books, games for entire family, within walking distance to the beach, and four mile drive to all shopping needs. The reason for the three star rating given in the "clean house" question was because when we arrived we noticed dog hair in the living area. We contacted the host and immediately the next day the cleaning service arrived and cleaned it. We were refunded the cleaning fee. Mougeh is very caring and responsive to her guests's needs.

Cannot thank Stephen enough for taking care of us after a major mess up. We were able to get in and relax and enjoy. So grateful for all he did for us on a graduation weekend.

First of all I would like to thank Carmen for letting me stay at her beautiful home. I enjoyed the time I spent at the air bnb even though it was a very busy weekend for me. Carmen home was clean and comfortable, also a very convenient location close to so many places. The home is also pretty spacious I was able to have a nice family dinner and gathering there. I would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful air bnb, Carmen was a great host Thankyou again.

Excellent stay! Hosts were responsive and very helpful. The house is absolutely beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice. The location is perfect and we had a wonderful time. We stay 4 weeks at Jacqueline place, everything was great, did not have any problem. Place is exactly fit the advertising if not better and everything was clean and working. We find place and the area is so peaceful and quiet. Perfect location for someone just looking for rest in very beautiful neighborhood. Jacqueline was very responsive, easy to communicate, helpful and polite. I would definitely stay again and recommend for anyone needs a place feels like home away home.

Beautiful home on a quiet dead end street. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the fenced in yard. Plenty space inside and out. Anything we could have possibly needed was provided. Excellent communication. Close to many dining and shopping options. Short drive to the Long Island aquarium! Will definitely be on our list of homes to stay at on the island!

Katy’s place is located right in the heart of Riverhead old district next to the aquarium great seafood, restaurants and Turkish restaurants nearby beautiful parks great fishing spots I would highly recommend it.

WOW!! We cannot say enough amazing things about our stay. We stayed for the holidays and the snow surrounding the lake was the most beautiful surrounding imaginable. It was so peaceful and we watched both sunrises and sunsets there. Plus there were tons of beautiful swans to appreciate! The house was extremely pristine, decorated beautifully for the holidays, and felt like home. This was such a special stay and our host was so accommodating! We will absolutely be back.
