We enjoyed our stay in the spacious and well equipped house that our host Philip arranged for us (due to the power loss cause by a storm in the original house, Philip suggested a Carrick self catering house in Carrick-on-Shannon). Located right in the center, we had a private parking, pubs and restaurants at our doorstep and a view on the beautiful Carrick marina. Philip was very friendly and helped us feel super welcome. All in all, a nice cosy house in a perfect central location.

Wir haben uns im Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt . Es gab 4 Schlafzimmer mit bequemen Betten und Fernseher und 2 Bäder mit Dusche. Die Küche ist mit Kühlschrank, Gerfrierschrank, Herd, Backofen, Mikrowelle und Spülmaschine ausgestattet. Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten. Robyn war ein freundlicher Gastgeber, er hat immer schnell auf unsere Anliegen reagiert und uns geholfen. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub!

We had a wonderful stay at Wild Deer Cottage. Hilary was there to welcome us on our arrival and show us around. The Cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high standard with everything we could want for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bedrooms and bed linen were of the highest quality. The cottage is in a lovely quiet rural setting, but with easy access to Sligo, Strandhill and all the local attractions. We'll be back!

I stayed here while I was working in Carrick on Shannon for a few days. The location was perfect being only a few minutes into the town and it felt like I was on holiday when I came back in the evening. The place has everything you might need : good internet, well stocked kitchen, gorgeous bathroom, good selection of TV channels, books, toiletries and thanks for the bottle of wine! It's beautifully decorated and was really peaceful and cozy. My highlight was watching the sheep in the morning.

Honestly one of the best places we've ever stayed. The pictures couldn't do it justice. Lisa has made the place so welcoming and homey, the grounds/surroundings are beautiful and the house is wonderfully designed (the dual aspect living room is gorgeous). Lisa left lots of information along with a welcome basket and answered any questions quickly. We'd definitely go back.

We loved Tadhg's place. Everything was as described - warm and comfortable. Our host was super helpful and made us feel very welcome, and was so easy-going. Drumshanbo is a great town with lovely, friendly locals. I'd thoroughly recommend Tadhg's house to anyone thinking of visiting Leitrim and surrounds.

Absolutely loved staying here. Stayed for nearly 2 weeks after the storm as had no power in mine. The house is in a lovely gated area so could allow dogs to roam the garden and the house is just lovely and cosy and homely. I had a wonderful time relaxing here and Marcus is always there to answer any questions. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. What a find. this apartment is very central and you can walk everywhere in the town from it. the apartment is really big and well laid out. everything was spotless. there were lots of nice touches like lots of cold bottled water in the fridge, some snacks on the counter, and nice furnishings. we were a big group but it was a great size for the 7 of us. I highly recommend this place and I'd love to come back again.

Fiona was a very responsive host and very quick to answer any queries. The apartment was amazing with stunning views out over the water. Was so well equipped with everything you would need for a stay. Very peaceful location yet close to carrick on shannon. So much to do in the area too. highly recommend for a stay

Excellent apartment and perfect location to explore the town. The apartment was very clean and tidy. The internet kept dropping so this may not be a good option if you need to work remotely. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating and my friends and I really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend booking this place as you can park the car and explore as everything is within walking distance.

Ciaran was a fantastic host, always contactable and left straightforward and easy instruction for to gain entry. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious. Ich war fast 2 Wochen bei Thomas & Joan und ihren beiden bezaubernden Töchtern. Das Zimmer war groß, sehr sauber und gemütlich und das Bett sehr komfortabel, die Bettwäsche unglaublich weich. Das Bad klein, aber sehr sauber. Tageslicht und Fenster. In der Küche stehen Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher und Toaster zur Verfügung, sowie 2 Kochplatten. Außerdem steht die Waschmaschine und ein Trockner zur Verfügung, diese Geräte werden von der Familie ebenfalls benutzt, aber immer nur während meiner Abwesenheit. Die Wohnräume zur Familie sind direkt nebenan, aber die Privatsphäre wird sehr geachtet. Es gibt einen separaten Eingang zur Wohnung. Ich habe diverse Ausflüge von hier aus unternommen und bin immer wieder gerne in meine ruhige Unterkunft zurückgefahren. Ein eigenes Auto ist essentiell in dieser ländlichen Gegend. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt bei dieser herzlichen Familie und komme gerne wieder.
