County Kildare: soggiorni in appartamento

A very warm welcome from Sharon. I had no problem in communicating with Sharon right from the point of when I was interested in the accommodation. She even answered my questions before I fully booked and also let us arrive earlier (our flight was due in early). She met us outside the accommodation and took us to where we were staying. I always go self catering so everything was there what I needed. Nothing was too much trouble for Sharon and if ever I needed to ask any questions, she would always get back to me straight away. Thanks for everything Sharon - if ever back in Ireland, will surely book again.

We really loved our stay at Janet's place. Janet was very welcoming and a wonderful host. She was quick to respond to any questions we had. The property is stunning, cosy, beautiful decorated. The place ticked all the boxes to make sure our stay was pleasurable. The kitchen is very well equipped and there were lots of goodies in the fridge, freezer and cupboard. It was well appreciated. The off street parking is also a bonus. Lots of little touches that made our stay perfect We would go back in a heartbeat.

Nous avons eu la chance d’être en contact avec les moutons et agneaux fraîchement nés . Merci pour cette rencontre avec votre famille : nous aurions aimé pouvoir rester plus longtemps.

We had a wonderful stay on this beautiful property. Maureen was warm and welcoming upon arrival and we woke up the next day feeling well rested and ready to enjoy the beautiful countryside.

Perfect place for small getaway from the busy city life! Loved every second of it. Held one of their adorable little chickens. 🌸🌸🌸

Welmie greeted us with a huge smile, and we found the apartment exactly what we needed after an exhausting 40 hour trip from Australia! There were goodies galore, and two extra comfy beds! The little pub around the corner provided our first Guiness, and the little takeaway a short drive away the quick dinner we needed. Welmie’s is spotlessly clean and very quiet. We would stay here again…….although I very much doubt that we’d travel quite so far ever again!

Very nice place, not too far from town but rural. In a great place for wherever you want to go. Saw a red tailed hawk in garden. No disturbances and quiet apart from early morning. No one else has mentioned so hopefully it is not normally the case? Sean is friendly and easy to talk to.

lovely country retreat but close to everything you need in Blessington village and easy drive to Dublin. Has all the comforts you need to feel relaxed and at home, with lovely garden and beautiful surroundings. Muriel and Tom were welcoming and attentive, but never intrusive. Thoroughly recommended for couples and singles.

Our stay with Derek & Adeline was perfect! From the moment we landed in Ireland Derek was helpful with travel tips and was extremely communicative with anything we may have needed. The cottage itself was quaint and everything we needed for our stay. Already thinking about our next trip to Straffan!

Absolutely exceeded our expectations. Only planned on staying 2 nights, extended based on how beautiful the property was. Highly recommend and will be back.

This AirBnB superceded my expectations it really is a little piece of Irish heaven. SO idyllic, waking up in a beautifully decorated and fully equipped apartment to sit and have a coffee on the patio with guinea fowl, peacocks and cats walking around whilst hearing the donkeys in the background, taking a walk around the well thought out grounds with all amenities available, to sit by the river before visiting the variety of animals really was the best getaway and escape from reality. Sean and Brian have done an absolutely excellent job at building the perfect place and your only regret in booking here will be that you didn't book long enough!! We had an amazing stay and Brian so kindly provided me with some peacock feathers that I had requested and we really couldn't be thankful enough. We love it here and this will always be our go to place whenever we come back to Ireland. Thank you guys so much and we can't wait to come back!

THis has to be the VERY BEST AirBnB we have ever stayed in. We needed a private and peaceful place that was accomoating and felt like home, as a remote work space "home office" for 6 days. I wish we could stay much longer! The Wifi was rapid speed, the work space and living area was very generous. We've never had so many well taken care of amenities and supplies to make us feel like we were home. Spotless, property well taken care of, incredible attention to all details for comfort and a "home sweet home" atmosphere. (I'm almost afraid to leave such a raving review, for I want to return again and again, and want to be sure I can get booked! Lovely and caring hosts, while providing much privacy. The best in Irish hospitality.

The hosts are very welcoming and on hand when needed. The accommodation is in a great location with plenty of outside space as well as plenty of room inside for the six of us. Everywhere was clean and well presented and provided everything we wanted. The only slightly negative issue was, because of the country location, the internet connection wasn’t always reliable but I would still happily book another holiday at Coolanowle.

I had the pleasure of staying in Catherine's apartment for 3 nights. At the beginning of May. A very enjoyable stay, I must say, very quiet and peaceful. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and set in a lovely mature garden. Birds singing and I also had 2 friendly cats visit every morning. Catherine herself is very friendly and a very good communicator. I would highly recommend a visit to Lizzy Keoghs pub in Baltinglass for one of the best pints of Guinness in Ireland too, either a good walk or a local taxi will get you there. I'll be back.
