Its a beautiful house. Host was so very friendly and helpful. House is spotless , clean and well decorated. Everything was just perfect and we felt like a home.

We were splendidly well looked after in a fantastic apartment in a beautiful location. Finding out that we could walk to some woods was just an added bonus. Strongly recommend.

Paul's place was very clean and smelt fresh when we arrived. It is in a very quiet residential area, but not too far from the centre of Amble. It was a good place to base ourselves to explore the wonderful Northumberland coast. Paul contacted us 24 hours before we arrived with check-in instructions.

We all had an amazing time ! Plenty space for our family of 11 and 3 dogs.

We had a lovely stay in this cozy cottage over the Easter weekend! The place is clean, charming, and has everything you need for a comfortable visit. The kitchen is particularly well-equipped — with all the essentials like pots, pans, utensils, and even basics like salt, pepper, and oil — perfect if you enjoy cooking your own breakfasts or dinners. That said, you’re also just a 3–5 minute walk from some great restaurants, including Michelin-starred! The shower is modern and spacious, and everything was very clean. Just a small note for future guests: shampoo and shower gel weren’t provided (only soap and hand lotion), so it’s good to bring your own. All in all, a great spot in a great location!

Booked Sammy’s place originally for my parents but unfortunately due to ill-health there were unable to make the journey up from Manchester however, I was delighted when my sister said that she was available. Sammy’s place is a hidden gem. I personally live in Hexham and cannot recommend Ian & Susan’s beautiful Accommodation any stronger than this, ‘Quite simply, the best accommodation in Hexham’. The location is perfect to get around the town, especially if you have difficulty walking as it is literally situated a stones through from the high street. There is plenty to do in Hexham being spoilt for choice when it comes to local Independant shops, a theatre, cinema, multiple pubs, bars and restaurants as well as the gorgeous Sele Park and surrounding area. Sammy’s place is a great place to stay with everything you need to feel completely at home; love this place and Susan & Ian are the perfect hosts. Robin communicated promptly and was super helpful. His cottage is ideally located - a quick walk into Ambleside, but away from the centre and very quiet. It was clean and cosy. Perfect for a great walking holiday.

We had a lovely time. It was like a home from home. Emma couldn't do enough for us. The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of enticing cafes and restaurants in Bishop Auckland.

We’ve just had the most relaxing 3 day stay and cannot recommend Fiona’s home highly enough! Beautifully located and furnished with everything we needed. So comfortable in every way. My wife just loved the sheep right outside the window! Lovely touch as well with the home made scones, thank you!

Neil was very friendly and responsive to our questions. We’re American and always struggle with learning how to turn on the showers and appliances while in Europe. It is very close to the train tracks which we used multiple times during our stay. It is in a quiet neighborhood. I do feel the location is a bit hidden, but once you know how to get there, it’s easy. His place was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Anne’s place had everything you needed for a short stay , was easy to find with handy parking behind the property . Breakfast was supplied which was a real bonus and milk and tea/ coffee and the beds were comfy . We went into Durham which was only 3-4 miles away and had the best Italian I’ve ever had so all in all a great stay . Thanks Anne . Sarah

Delightful , quaint, cosy cottage set in beautiful surroundings and countryside. It was so relaxing to sit back, watch and listen to the wildlife. The locals were very friendly and welcoming and offered their knowledge of the area for walks and the wildlife. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need and within easy reach of the local amenities. There are many picturesque walks right on your doorstep which are simply divine and great for furry friends. Angus and Murphy had such a fabulous time as they love the water and running free. We stayed here with our two young children for two nights, and we had a great time. A nice, peaceful site, which helped us to relax. The lodge had everything we needed and we would definitely return. Great location within easy reach of the castles and beaches.

The place was absolutely stunning. We were awestruck by the gorgeous interior. Visitors can expect a fantastic time staying in the accommodation. However, having a vehicle to travel is a must. There is parking available. Indoor heating (radiators) is provided in every room and common areas. Fireplace was used during our stay in the winter season. The host is very responsive and friendly. While the location provided is accurate. The drive up to the accommodation can erroneous as google map did not consider the closures at Forest Drive. Hence, it will be good to check with the host properly.

Really brilliant place. Lovely house and great amenities. Really well stocked (unusual to have such good wine glasses!!). Well def use again!
