Historic Hilton Farm - Rooster Cottage

The stunning Hilton Farm is one of the oldest and most historic farms in the Eastern Cape, with the original 1837 settler home now a national monument. Set within the grand gardens of this estate are two cottages. Rooster is a two bedroom cottage with a beautiful country kitchen a living room that opens up onto a spectacular view of the beautiful garden and estate lawn. The patio is the perfect place for coffee catching the morning sun, which dances through large oaks onto dew swept lawns.

Fisherman's Cottage in the beautiful Karoo

Situated on the R400 dirt road between Jansenville and Somerset East, this cottage is the ideal getaway from the city. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you! The cottage is pet friendly and self-catering. There is no WiFi but there is cell reception. Some activities to keep you busy during your stay on the farm include: fishing, walking, bird viewing and cycling. The cottage is situated next to a dam. R300 PER PERSON PER NIGHT Children under 4 stay for free.

Copper Moon Game Lodge

Copper Moon Game Farm is situated on the northern border of Addo Elephant National Park south of Somerset East in the Eastern Cape in a malaria free area. It comprises 8 500 ha of mixed Karoo veld with rolling hills, dense valley bush, montane grass and fynbos in the deep valleys of the Zuurberg. This well developed property is well provided with roads. Game viewing drives are a thrilling experience, as are the views from the high regions. Our neighbours are Big 5 Game Reserve Kuzuko Lodge.

Situated 15 minutes from Bedford and 5 minutes from Adelaide in the Eastern Cape on a beautiful farm. The Country Lodge can sleep four guests comfortably with all the necessary amenities. It consists of two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms (showers only) Fully equipped kitchenette, open plan lounge area with dining room , a cosy fire place for those chilly nights and full DSTV on offer. Verdun Farm Self-Catering Accomodation

Laid back self-catering accommodation on a working sheep, cattle, goat, irrigation and pomegranate farm. Activities available on the farm include fishing, mountain biking, hiking, lazing in the sun or you could join the farmers for a day of farming to see what a day on the farm is all about. The house can sleep up to 10 people. The rates for the house is R2000/night or R350pppn.
