Our stay at Tanei’s home in New Orleans was amazing! The house was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had super comfortable beds. My family and I felt completely safe and loved how quiet and beautiful the neighborhood was. We came for a weekend getaway, and it was perfect. The saltwater pool was a huge hit for my family. I also enjoyed morning walks to the lake and taking in the beautiful views. We didn’t use the fireplace, but the home itself was magnificent. Getting around was easy with Uber; wait times were short, and we were only about 15 minutes from the French Quarter and most attractions. Tanei was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making everything smooth. After a long morning of travel, the welcome snacks and water she left were so thoughtful and appreciated, especially with hungry kids! We truly felt at home and will definitely always book her place when visiting NOLA.

The location was perfect for us as it was midway on St. Charles- so easy to get anywhere. Having the pool was ideal in order to cool off after a hot day. Pool was clean and well maintained. Linens were exceptionally soft and the entire apartment was very neat and clutter free. Also, we never had any problems locating off street parking nearby.

Great place and safe neighborhood! Uber and Lyft cheap to anywhere! Awesome place to relax!

Ben was a great host! Super responsive and easy to communicate with. Neighborhood was great, within walking distance to Frenchman St. and the quarter if you're able and willing! Had a bunch of bars, stores, restaurants to check out, it can get a little loud at night but we knew that going into it and it didn't bother our group. Highly recommend this as a place to stay when you're in NOLA!

Great location! Perfect size for our family of 8. Responsive host. Easy in/out. Very high ceilings in unit and lots of sweet character. For anyone street parking in this area..we got a parking ticket for parking within 20 ft of a crosswalk. Also lots of 2 hr parking. It was fine until the French Quarter festival started, then there was no parking. We had to find a paid lot.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were in town for our daughter's wedding. The place was very close to the church, reception venue, hair salon, and any other stores that we needed to get to pick up last minute items. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, situated near the lake. Marcelle was very accommodating and responded to our questions quickly. We had a party of 6 adults, and there was plenty of room for us to gather, relax, and prepare for the wedding without being in one another's way. The home is beautifully appointed, and we had everything we needed to keep groceries and cook meals during our stay. We highly recommend a stay at The Cottage on the Lake.

Nice little place, well decorated. We felt like home 15 mn walk from French Quarter. If you have a car, dedicated parking available. We recommend

We had a great time! Weather was perfect and we ended up walking alot, even to Mardi Gras world from the house, then took shuttle to french quarter and rode the street car back. It's a quiet street and neighbors were friendly. Be sure to ride uptown on the street car to view the beautiful houses.

Great little place near tons of good restaurants, bars, and shops. We wandered to the French Q (25 min walk), which has lots going on as well. Our place was remarkably quiet during our stay. Our kiddo slept on the couch and had no complaints about comfort. Just what they advertised, what we needed, and would come back. Also, the little decorative details were amazing; well curated art and interior!
