Best experience ever! 10 out of 10. This is real cabin in the woods experience. No cell phone no loud noises, just you and nature. From the very second you enter the cabin feels like the time stops. Oh…and the smell inside the cabin is something else, makes you sleep like a baby :) Great fishing location as well. Make sure you bring your cast iron pan so you can cook that trout on the fire over the fireplace. Will definitely come back!! Best regards, Alex and Allyson

Great 2 bedroom with a loft. The loft was a great place for the kids to have their own space. The cabin was fully stocked and everything you need in the kitchen! The layout of the cabin was great and we enjoyed being able to prepare meals while still being able to interact with everyone. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the outside fire pit for s’mores. We star gazed several nights and the view was outstanding. Elliott was very quick to respond and an overall great host Highly recommend this cabin and we will be back for sure!

Place was perfect for what we used it for!

I really enjoyed staying here, it was very relaxing, comfortable, and calming out in the countryside! Everything was super clean and it had everything what i needed and being peaceful surrounding! This is a great place to stop when visiting the great sand dunes, overall enjoyed my stay, I would recommend this place to anyone!

We had a great time at the snowshoe cabin! It's the perfect spot for family groups. The cabin is cozy and warm with a great kitchen and beautiful views all around. You can snowshoe, xc ski, or snowmobile for miles right from the deck of the cabin. Some members of our group were more interested in staying warm inside and building puzzles, while others were more adventurous and snowshoed a couple miles up the pass following the Cumbres & Toltec railroad. We found some great snow sledding hills a short drive up the pass. Neff Mountain is right across the highway for those looking to backcountry ski. The deck of the cabin was great for relaxing outside in the sunshine. Beds were very comfortable. The stars at night were incredible. Keep an eye out for the neighborhood fox! Derick & Meigan were very responsive & easy to get in touch with thanks to the cabin's Starlink internet connection. We will definitely be back next winter!

Awesome house! we nicked named it the grandpa house, cause it felt like grandma's house( also all the grandma brooms outside). Great house for the value. Beds were comfy, house was nice and toasty. A really nice place to stay. my only suggestion for Ella Mae, get the tub stopper fix ( still had a great shower) and have a handyman knock down the edges on the gate ( piece of tin was really sharp). My issues were minor. Really, a nice play to stay!

It was a great place to stay. We have family in LaJara that we were visiting but this gave us our own little space when our little ones needed some time away. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, matched the pictures perfect and made us feel right at home.

We were in Sanford for a family funeral. We would have never thought there would be an Air B&B in Sanford but here it was. To Have a full house vs a hotel room is so nice and needed. We had space to convene if needed, space to relax, full kitchen for needed. We did not use the laundry but for a longer stay it is needed and nice to have. We needed some flexibility and Lucas was very willing to allow that. Very responsive and kind in meeting our needs.
