The Log Homestead is tucked away in the woods, situated on 80 acres of land. From the back of the deck you can look out and enjoy abundant wildlife while grilling dinner The home is furnished with cozy living room as well as a full kitchen and dining area that is sure to please. Master bedroom in on the second floor with a queen bed and private bathroom. The loft area has a queen airbed . The main level has a full size bathroom with second bedroom with a full size bed. Sunrise Trails are near.

Summer 2026 ~Visit Acadia Park & Bar Harbor by day & stay here at night. Our 1.4 acre shore-front family retreat began an 18 month renovation Fall of 2018 & only opened recently - Dishwasher, new beds, Hi-speed Internet no data limit. We fell in love with this quiet coastal sanctuary, the perfect place to reconnect with nature while staying on grid. ☪ At night you'll experience deafening silence under the natural light of the stars. High-speed Internet keeps you connected.

Tunk Stream Lodging

Cozy apartment with private entrance. Enter the mud room into the living room with TV and kitchenette. The bedroom has a king size bed with dresser, closet, TV and vanity. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. Very comfortable, cozy space. It is part of our home but very private. We're located on Tunk Stream, 1 mile from the Down East Sunrise Trail. Take a dip in our stream, hike around our area (blueberry barrens) or bring your 4 wheeler and take a run on the trail.
