Come stay for a relaxing time overlooking the San Gabriel River with a beautiful panoramic view. It is a safe wonderful get-a-way for fresh air and shaded walks. The Cabin has its own driveway/parking.There is a well defined path, 5 min walk to the River, where you can relax, picnic,swim, Kayak or fish. At Cabin we have Volleyball, Cornhole, Horseshoes, Tetherball, Fire-pit wood, pool for you and your family to enjoy in warm weather with privacy. *Sorry but we will not be able to host parties.

Also, a nice kitchen, dining room, and living room with flat screen TV, foldout couch, and tons of natural light. Private spot on the river! Quiet and peaceful setting overlooking Elm Valley just 9 min from Buffalo Gap. The fully renovated railcar and caboose are connected by a large back patio that boasts one of the most spectacular views in Taylor County. The railcar is the larger of the two and has a king size bed, walk in shower, full kitchen, and living area. The caboose has a queen size bed, small living area, half bath, mini fridge and coffee bar. Smart TVs and WI-FI in each. Relax and unwind at this one of a kind retreat.

River Roost is a family vacation spot on the lake that sleeps 6. It is 3 miles off Interstate 35, located in a quiet neighborhood with access to 50 feet of waterfront. It is a quick trip to downtown New Braunfels with features such as Schlitterbahn waterpark, tubing, antique and grocery stores, department stores, and a great selection of restaurants. A guest binder is provided with information about the area and surrounding communities.
