Our stay at Starlight Serene was everything we hoped it would be! John was very responsive and helpful, especially as this was our first time using AirBnB. The pictures are very accurate, there were plenty of towels, linens, and a VERY well equipped kitchen - much more than we expected (or I have in my own house, I think!). Lots of nice bonuses to this place - my kids loved the firepit and there was wood on hand as well as a s'mores kit; the hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived. You are at the narrower end of the lake, but still a beautiful view with plenty of wildlife. The location is great - roughly 30ish minutes to Bear Mountain, Legoland, and the Palisades Center (which had tons of rainy-day fun for kids). We even rented a pontoon boat from Murphy's Cove Marina - Richie was really wonderful to us and our kids and they loved their first time boating and fishing on the lake. We really enjoyed our stay at Sandi’s place. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is great for couples and families. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a big NYE dinner. And it was just a few mins from Chatham center and I90, while still quiet and isolated. Sandi was great at communicating with us and was very flexible about check in and check out times, which we appreciated. We had one toddler with us and there was also a pack and play and a high chair. We would stay here again!

Truly a wonderful escape just a couple hours from the city. The cabin is much nicer than pictures. Open kitchen and living room concept. Amazing property on the lake. Great views and super cozy!

fantastic host and super helpful whenever we had questions. my wife left her iPad there and they mailed it back. verry appreciative of that. first time using a wood fired sauna- I was skittish at first, but it was a great amenity. hot tub was clean and worked well as well. would definitely recommend if you're eyeing a rustic retreat.

Pristine clean, cozy, one bedroom condo unit located in Windham with seasonal access to tennis courts and a pool. Walking distance to the beautiful Windham Path. Slept better than at home in the comfy bed. Went for two days of midweek remote work. Agnieszka, the host, was gracious and responsive. The host obviously put some genuine TLC into this place and it shows. Browsed for books at Briars & Brambles, an indie bookstore in Windham adjacent to Windham Pharmacy. Purchased groceries and firewood down the road at Hickory Hill Market . Ate in area at Higher Grounds and Windham Diner. Living room has a fireplace with large screen TV just above. Ryan’s place was perfect for my parents to stay for their trip to Northport. The space was clean and comfortable, and the location was very convenient. Ryan was helpful and responsive for their entire trip.

The cottage was lovely and very comfortable. Simon left us detailed instructions and we had no issues in finding it and settling in. As the weather took a turn for the worse, we spent most of a day cozy in the house. Our dogs were also very comfortable and loved the large backyard. The house decor is very tastefully done, and not only looks great but looks like special effort has been taken to make everything comfortable and easy to use. Thank you for sharing your home!!

Sally responded to questions right away. She was really attentive - making sure snow was cleared and ice salted so that we could leave early in the morning after a big snow storm. The place was really conveniently located 15 minutes from ski Butternut. And it was immaculately clean and so cozy. It was a really nice stay.

Beautiful home in a very private area. Lots of family games and lots of outside things todo. Me and my family had a wonderful Easter weekend get away. Only complaint I would have is the jacuzzi smelled weird and stuff was coming out of the jets but other than that it was perfect! We all were very comfortable and had a blast with the kids.
