Ideally situated on the banks of the River Eden in Appleby opposite the cricket pitch and church. Once a corset factory, our home is steeped in history parts dating back to the 1600’s. Beamed ceilings, stone floors and freshly painted light grey walls blend well with the traditional architechture. We are ideally situated within walking distance of numerous shops, pubs and restaurants as well as the local Castle. The cottage is exclusive for the guests booked.

The Mill, Rutter Falls,

Comfortable converted watermill sleeping one or two couples, overlooking a spectacular waterfall, in the tranquil Eden Valley, between Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. The deep pool below the falls is ideal for cold-water swimming. Perfect for a romantic getaway, or watching abundant birds and wildlife, for honeymoons, anniversaries or engagements! You won't find accommodation closer to rushing water than this! No under 12s. Check in Fridays and Mondays only.

The Cushion Cottage is situated right next door to the Crown and Cushion a super pub and tea room serving food all day from 8am (ideal for breakfast) in the centre of Appleby in Westmorland , the Lounge, Diner and fully fitted Kitchen along with the family bathroom with bath and separate shower are situated on the 1st floor with 2 bedrooms downstairs one with a double bed and one with two single beds, both have their own TV, Complementary Wi-Fi is available.
