Absolutely loved our stay! The bungalow was super nice, very clean, and felt incredibly private. I’ve always been hesitant to rent a guest house because of privacy concerns, but this experience totally changed my mind. Everything was perfect, and Sam was so friendly and welcoming. The area is gorgeous, the pool is a great bonus, and there are tons of restaurants and shops within 15 minutes. Highly recommend!

We came into town for a memorial service and Ann's place was just what we needed for peace and privacy while we were there. It is an older farm house with an older home's quirks, but it was comfortable and just right for our family. Ann was a wonderful, thoughtful, host.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rodney and Kendra’s farm cabin! Our whole family loved every minute — from relaxing by the beautiful lake, to fishing, and spending time with all the sweet farm animals, especially the kittens. The kids had a blast riding the golf cart around the farm and enjoying a bonfire in the evening. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The hosts Rodney and Kendra were truly excellent — so welcoming, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you so much for including us with your family. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable escape!

The Legacy on Ward is awesome. Jonathan and Halie are super hosts. Easy communication with quick and friendly responses. Very clean, modern with spacious rooms. Nice kitchen and dining room. It features a large , private and quiet place for a “home office “ if you are needing to get work done during your stay. It has everything needed to feel at home. Centrally located to downtown Douglas for restaurants and shopping. My husband and I have been staying here for five months while having our house renovated after Hurricane Helene. Our dogs loved the fenced in back yard with plenty of outside lighting. We would absolutely stay here again. Just book it , you will love it !!

Super clean! Perfect location with plenty of space and everything you could need!

10/10 all around! The photos do this location no justice! The peace and serenity you feel from the clean, country air and beautiful scenery is absolutely remarkable. Everything was extremely clean and it smelled so good as soon we walked in! The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with supplies. Check in was super easy and there’s a pamphlet about the property with all clear instructions and rules. The owners were an absolute delight and were quick to respond to any needs or requests. Mr. Tim even brought us some fruit for my family to enjoy during our stay which was so kind. There is so much to enjoy on this property! I can’t wait for another peaceful getaway here!

I cannot say how perfect of a place this actually is. If you enjoy nature, serenity, and a super inviting host that responds quickly this is it. We wanted to stay here again and Thomas approved our request in such a timely manner and made everything convenient and effortless. The bed here was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on away from home and that says a lot because I have back problems and had to fully customize my own bed. The bunnies are extremely adorable to watch run around and play with each other as if they are almost domesticated.

Good place to stay. Host stays on top of everything and stays in touch. Was a long term stay while we’re cleaning up after hurricane helene. Would stay again.

Mark is a great host, accommodating and communicates well. His home is lovely and pet friendly which is perfect for us. We travel to Douglas often to watch our son play baseball and have stayed here multiple times, and will continue to stay here when we can. The yard is spacious with a fire pit and charcoal grill.
