I had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Lakefield, Ontario. The check-in process was seamless and communication with the host was smooth throughout. The cottage was cozy and well-kept, nestled in a peaceful and quiet setting that made for a truly relaxing getaway. I especially loved the tranquil surroundings—perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. Everything was just as described, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our stay at Lisa’s place was wonderful despite the power outage towards the end of our trip due to bad weather. The house was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. Lisa was incredibly helpful, kind, and considerate throughout our stay. She genuinely cares about her guests and went above and beyond to ensure we were okay. I can confidently say that she's one of the best host I've ever encountered. Overall, we had a great experience, and we highly recommend this place to anyone. I rented this for my mother’s 80th birthday. It was perfect for her and her husband. Lake views amazing, perfect size home and fully equipped with everything one would have at their own home! House was quaint, personable and a feeling of comfort and relaxation. Beautiful deck overlooking Lake Ontario, beautiful well maintained yard. The privacy was another great bonus!! Would rent this again. Instructions were on point! Everything was perfect!! Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven!!

Jason and his available home combined has been a great experience for us. Jason has been extremely helpful and available throughout the entirety of our stay. This is a beautiful home, and provides a sense of relaxation from the moment you step in the door. Highly recommended to anyone looking for the total package.

L’endroit est tres calme et correspond bien a la description. C’est plaisant de pouvoir avoir accès au lac et a des embarcations sans frais. Les instructions que j’ai reçues étaient très s clair. Seul petit bémol il manquait les coussin du dossier au divan ce qui le rend tres inconfortable autrement j’ai vraiment apprécié mon séjour. Merci

Gary & Mina were excellent hosts. They greeted us for check in and where very accommodating. Any questions we had were quickly answered via the AirBNB app. The house was full of character and had lots of things to do indoors and outdoors. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, utensils and kitchen wares. There was a washer/dryer centrally located which was great for towels and the Weber BBQ was in top notch condition. Water toys well maintained (2 kayaks, 1 paddle board, 1 canoe and 1 paddle boat). Pool and hot tub worked great, which was a must for our cottage getaway.

It was a great stay and very accommodating. Kids enjoyed the pool table and foosball indoors as well as the pool and lake outside. The kitchen and view of the lake was amazing. Lots of fishing was done from the docks and petal boat and some paddling from the kayak and paddle board (we brought this).

Being from a small town, it was trickier trying to figure out how to get up the correct elevator as we tried the corporate side not the private residence side. Once we figured it out, it was ok.

We had a great time staying in Kevin’s home. He is extremely kind and helpful! We felt right at home and very comfortable. We caught a couple of fish right off his dock! Beautiful home and really beautiful scenery. We will definitely come back!!

I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful week at the cottage with my 2 boys. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The outdoor spaces were beautuful and the kids and I spent a lot of time on the swings and in the hammock. The lake was perfect for swimming (the kids especially loved the big floating mat) and we enjoyed exploring the lake in the canoe as well! The kids have been asking to go back ever since!

My 13 and 14 year old boys and I stayed at Bozena's and we had the absolute best time. Everything, including the yard, was pristine and I could tell there was great care in making sure everything was perfect for us. Check in was simple and we settled right in. We had so much fun in the yard - my boys fished, we brought lacrosse sticks and a frisbee and spent our evenings really enjoying ourselves. We love cooking and found plenty of dishes and pots and pans to use in the kitchen. Bozena had many nice areas inside her home to enjoy the beautiful view. She was very communicative and kind. In addition, I left my binoculars at her place and asked if anyone had found them. She got back to me immediately and is sending them back to me. She went above and beyond to do so! We would love to visit again!

This is an amazing cottage! Me and my 8 friends stayed here and the amenities activities made us upset to leave! Daniel and Guennadi gave very descriptive instructions about the amenities available and local rules and we had a great time! Very spacious place definitely would recommend for medium sized groups.

I booked this Tiny Home Cottage for a quiet and relaxing getaway with my husband for my birthday. :) And it exceeded my expectations!! Everything about the home was just as it was photograhed and written in the listing of the property. The view of the lake was absolutely beautiful outside the home and from inside! It's really a great spot!! We enjoyed going into the towns of Colborne and Brighton. As well as, Presquille Provincial Park, which is only minutes away. And an Alpaca Farm which was also fun to visit! Mindy, was a delight to correspond with and meet in person! She responded quickly to messages and provided everything we needed to know before we arrived. She met with us soon after we got there, to meet us and show us how to use the Eco toilet and water tank. She also kept in touch during our stay; letting us know about places to see and if there was anything we needed. She's a wonderful hostess! Only good things to say about this place! I didnt want to leave!

The location was great and matched the description perfectly. Nancy was very easy to deal with and responsive with clear instructions for check-in. I would definitely recommend staying here if given the chance!
