Self contained annex on Dartmoor National Park

We are positioned on the very edge of Dartmoor, with the national cycle path 50 mtrs from the gate and walking distance to the adjacent villages of Yelverton & Horrabridge. The annex is a converted stable block and offers our guests the comfort of a newly developed facility, with kitchenette, sofa area, bedroom space and luxury shower room. The Annex will provide you with all of the comforts of home, while you concentrate on enjoying the beauty of the surrounding area. We are bias, but love it!

Riverside cottage

The most idyllic riverside escape! Gooseland Cottage sits on the edge of the River Tavy, close to the village of Bere Ferrers, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to Dartmoor National Park. Tides allowing, enjoy sailing, paddling, or swimming - within yards of your door. Or just soak up the view and read by the woodburner. A bird watching haven - egrets, swans, geese, avocets, osprey, European roller (2023) and this year ... a sea eagle! Masses of walking trails and cycling.

Dartmoor Den perfect location for Moor exploring

Situated in Dartmoor national park with beautiful views from this detached, self-contained annex with private patio, garden, bike store and parking. The Dartmoor Den is a charming, newly converted annex that offers self catering accommodation in the quiet hamlet of Grenofen. Downstairs is open plan with a fully equipped new kitchen and cosy living/dining area, cloakroom/toilet and private garden. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with views across Dartmoor and an en-suite bathroom/wet room.

Beautiful Dartmoor house, idyllic moorland setting

The Old National School is a Grade II listed house, nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Sampford Spiney, located within Dartmoor National Park. Dating from 1585, the house sits in an idyllic spot between the Church and picturesque Sampford Manor. Originally the Church hall, it became the parish school in 1887 until 1923. It was only in the 1960’s that it became a residential dwelling. With its varied history, the house is quirky, with its lovely spacious rooms hinting at its eclectic history.

The Old Smithy, Idyllic hideaway on Dartmoor

The Old Smithy is set is a secluded valley on the river Tavy. It is a mile from the nearest road, down a private track through beautiful moorland and woodland. It's an ideal base for walking, cycling wild swimming and getting away from it all, a true nature lovers paradise! We live in a house on the same site so will be on hand for any advice or assistance. We are on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and an hour's drive from numerous beaches. The thriving town of Tavsitock is 7 miles away.

Highly modern, recently renovated 3 bedroom semi detached house in Crownhill. Open-plan kitchen/dining space, perfect for social occasions. The choice is yours to relax around the wood-burning stove, escape to the wilds of Dartmoor and beyond or enjoy a local cider in the 16th-century pub opposite.

Yelverton is a few minutes drive and has a good butcher, Co-op, Post Office, pubs and is close to the market town of Tavistock and the city of Plymouth, making it ideal for both outdoor activities and exploring Devon's history and coast.

Bar-K has recently undergone a major renovation and features a large hot tub, sauna, ping pong table, a cinema room with surround sound and a PS5, and a games room with a full-size pool table, a dartboard, and table football. There is private parking for 6 cars, with an EV charge point, a huge decked area and a large, secure garden.

Situated in a rural location with stunning views across the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, half a mile from the picturesque village of Milton Combe (with excellent pub) and one mile from the Dartmoor National Park. I always provide fresh ground coffee, tea, milk, and bread prior to your visit. Our beautifully refurbished cottage has instant access to the moors, Drakes cycle trail and village amenities. It is the perfect location for exploring Dartmoor and enjoying nearby restaurants and pubs.
