Our stay at the Blue Fox Cottage was absolutely wonderful! The home was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Eric and Matt were thoughtful hosts and provided all the info we needed. The surrounding area was peaceful and scenic, and the cottage had everything we could ask for. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a comfortable, charming retreat. Looking forward to coming back again, Inshallah!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We did it all - swimming off the dock, warming up in the hot tub, going out on the canoe, kayak and paddle boards, movie night on the big couch. And FYI for any fishing lovers, we caught lots off the dock, even a couple pike!! You truly can’t go wrong with this lovely cottage.

Came down for a rugby tournament with a group from Kingston ON. This spot was spacious, clean, very nice and up to date. No issues at all! Would love to come back in the summer once the weather is nicer to enjoy the beautiful yard set up they had.

My personal best Airbnb experience hands down!! The home owners thought of everything, and you have everything you need except for your own personal belongings and sustenance. This is how Airbnb’s used to be back in the day but Ryan and his family’s home have taken it to the next level! Modern, clean, clutter free. They’ve thought of literally everything. Worth every penny. Don’t hesitate. If you’re staying up in the 1000 islands, stay here. No brainer in my book! Thanks, Ryan and fam for a wonderful last minute weekday getaway.

The house and grounds were great, Such a wonderful find for a weekend getaway. Gillian med us upon our arrival and gave us a third walk-through of the property. A very kind and welcoming host. There was an incredible amount of space in this country ranch, both indoors and out. A hot tub was clean and large enough for my group to hang out, picnic tables outside, made for a good barbecue. It was such a short trip to downtown Alexandria Bay, five minutes, it really was a great place to be right next to the heart of it all well not being stuck the rest of the visitors. We all look forward to looking this place again and enjoying the thousand islands

We had a great family week away at David’s place and as a host he was super helpful. The view from the window/hot-tub/deck was fantastic, shame we could not bring it home with us! The weather was not great for the week, meaning limited time on the lake. We did manage a day on a hired boat, the other days we went on day trips to local towns and Ottawa by train from Brockville. We also did a city cruise of 1000 islands and attended the annual 1000 islands rib fest. The house was well equipped with all we needed for a great family stay and a relaxing week. For a BBQ recommend a trip to “The Butcher Shop”.

We loved our stay with our family and four legged friends! Great location close to our family and easy travel to Elgin for food and Westport for shops and Brewery!

Had a wonderful stay! Cottage was very well appointed, comfortable and clean. Grounds were beautiful, it was like being in your own mini private resort. Look out for an otter swimming back and forth in the lake-super cute! Alison was great to communicate with and made us feel very welcome. Loved it!

what a beautiful place!! beautiful view, very quiet, very private, comfortable bed, plenty of coffees & tees! my dog played with their doggie. very friendly kind people. we enjoyed walking on frozen lake, making fire in the snow. we definitely wanna visit in summer time!

Had a wonderful stay with our pet at Pineview Cottage. Valarie is a very friendly host who greeted us on arrival. Very clear instructions for check-in details of the cottage was sent in advance - cottage matched the pics. She also had some useful tips for us about sites in the area. Chaffey's Lock is beautiful & peaceful place and we had a very comfortable stay at Valarie's. Will certainly stay at her cottage again if we are in the area.

The furniture is clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had all the necessary amenities. We especially liked that there was plenty of space for clothing and belongings, and appreciated the wifi, nice TV and games.

We rented this place over the long weekend and just loved it. Robert was a very response host. Everything was perfect. Very spacious place with everything you could possibly need. Very close to town, grocery store and sight seeing. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.

What a gem this cottage is. We’d move in forever! Loved the open concept and the updated kitchen and bathroom. Perfect for our dog with a forest hiking trail close by. We enjoyed coffee and cocktails on the dock for sunrises and sunsets. Idyllic!

This was our second visit, and we absolutely love this property. The view of the amazing St. Lawrence (a river that acts like an ocean) has many beautiful faces. On a rainy day, we took the short drive into Canada to explore the Thousand Islands Scenic Parkway. On a sunny day, we went to Wellesley Island State Park - walked the perimeter trail. We saw great flocks of swans and no people. Aside from those excursions, we relaxed here. We love the deck and the grassy private bank for sitting. We saw a few spectacular sunsets (one might think you’d be looking north across the river, but from this house, it’s a dead western vantage). The kitchen is great for cooking light meals and the bed is perfectly comfortable with lots of pillows. So many birds chorus the mornings and the occasional river freighter added curiosity. We HIGHLY recommend.

Ellen’s place was so clean and inviting. I didn’t want to leave! The beds and couches were comfortable and the view was amazing. Definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful and peaceful location right by the lake surrounded by trees. Host was kind and responsive, cabin is older but functional and has everything you need. The view from the balcony overlooks the lake and you can enjoy your meal there or have barbecue. There is also direct access to the lake and you can use the motor boat and the canoes. We were here in the fall with our two dogs and really enjoyed the colors on the trees. Be aware that there are ticks and if you bring a dog, they absolutely need to have protection against ticks. Would recommend to those who appreciate nature and are not looking for luxury but a cozy cabin experience.

We wanted to reconnect as a family before our daughter heads away for a few months of travel and this was the perfect spot. It’s such a beautiful cottage in an incredible location with incredible views. From mornings spent marveling at the sunrise over the lake to walking the trails, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We visited in winter and although we were warned there is no central heat, with the baseboard heaters and a wood burning stove, we were always warm and cozy - even at night. Chris was a great host and would check in on us to ensure we had everything we need. We’re already trying to decide when we can go back!

This was a great spot for our large family to land together while visiting other local family for the holidays. We appreciated the open space and the well-equipped kitchen and laundry. Christine's place was clean and it worked well for our needs! We'd come again for sure.

Courtney's place is a really beautiful location. It was the nice and cozy get away we were looking for.

This was a beautiful, very quaint cottage. It’s in a nice and peaceful area and lots of options for recreational activities, although we stayed there for a reading getaway. John provided us with lots of information and notes about our stay which were very helpful. I would definitely book it again in the future.

Place was terrific, Don was great, the whole experience was marvellous!

The property is beautiful. Luckily we were the only ones there, so had the land to ourselves. felt private and serene. I would not have enjoyed it as much if the other cabin had occupants as everything is close together. The cabin is cozy, furniture/appliances are a little wobbly but it adds to the charm and quiky of the place. it was bright and clean. the water is super murky right by the boathouse and launch, but clears as you head out. The stone "step" onto the porch of the cabin can be tricky with anyone with mobility limitations, so take it slow. There is an antique store maybe a 5 min walk that is a great little treasure trove. I found the cutest wind chimes. And loved chatting with the lady working. Most people we encountered were very friendly and welcoming. Quick drive to Clayton and Watertown. There is a country store and a dollar general not very far from the cabin if you need supplies and firewood for sale galore. Wendy was a gracious host. Will be back!

Carissa and Owen's cottage is a super cozy and charming cottage with many well thoughtout updates in the open floor plan. The cottage was both very clean and decorated in a perfect 'lakeside' vibe style. The hosts responded quickly to our questions and went the extra distance to make the bunkie available for us outside the preferred season. Would definitely return for another stay.

I can't say enough good about this beautiful cottage on the St. Lawrence River. It was clean, comfortable, quiet. Everything I was looking for for my overnight stay. And the view cannot be beat. Lisa was such a responsive host. She was so kind and helpful and made my stay superb. Would highly recommend and would go back in a heartbeat.
