In the summer you can fish and swim right off the end of the dock on the property. In the winter go from the fire pit to the sauna to the hot tub and if you’re really brave, cold plunge in the river! We are situated beside a beautiful park where you can sit and relax, walk the trails, play frisbee golf, hit the splash pad and swings, or head down the hill to a park that sits on the edge of the Mississippi River. For cyclists, we are located just off the OVRT. Electric car owner? There is a charging station just 100m from the house.

40 minutes west of Kanata, ON in Lanark Highlands, 20 kms west of Almonte. The Gate House is a renovated 150 year old log building with 2 single beds, in floor heating, bathroom with shower & kitchenette with hot plate, toaster oven, coffee maker, small fridge & microwave, dining & sitting area.
