It's hosted writers such as Cheryl Strayed, author of "Wild". Located on 22 acres & privately situated on a beautiful river in the midst of a true PNW woodland. End of The Road - 4 Night Minimum

End Of The Road is a rustic family cabin perched on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, with the wooded hills of Oswald West State Park rising behind. Hand built in the late 1950's by the current owners, this 2 bedroom one bathroom cabin includes a wood stove, hot tub and washer/dryer. The location is a dramatic and stunningly wild spot. There is little sense of other human presence. Dogs are welcome with an Additional Services Fee of $25 per night, per dog: limit 2. Sorry, no cats.

Our cabin is on a quiet country road. While nestled in the trees, the cabin sits on a bluff and offers amazing views of the Columbia. It is 45 min. from Astoria, and 60 min. from Long Beach. Sit on the porch and watch river traffic, eagles and deer. Build a fire, in the fireplace, or the firepit. play games or read. Relax on the porch with a cup of coffee, tea or a glass of wine and enjoy the stunning view of the river and the wildlife.

It’s a bird lover’s favorite. The house has an old-fashioned claw-foot tub with endless hot water. We stock the kitchen with a morning’s continental breakfast of often homemade items.
