You can sit on the front porch and enjoy the swing or rocking chairs and listen to the night sounds or chat with friends. This property too unique to describe properly. Waynetown is 1 mile from Interstate 74 for easy overnight access. No traffic, no light - 2 minutes and you can get gas before you get back on the highway. There is a gas station, grocery store, post office and bank all within walking distance of the unit. No smoking or pets.

I maintain a natural lawn and yard without using harsh pesticides/herbicides, which means the grass isn't always weed-free, but is safe for pets and children.

There’s also a kitchenette in the hallway which is an antique Hoosier Cabinet equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee pot, and hot water pot.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil get away, in the middle of Indiana heartland! This is a peaceful country setting in a farming community. It is 15 minutes from interstate I-65, approximately 20 minutes to downtown Lafayette and approximately 30 minutes to Purdue University. Papaw’s barn is a detached building away from the main house with parking. If you enjoy relaxing views of the country, in the middle of Indiana heartland, this is the place for you!
