I was in town for business and had a nice day at Leslie’s place. The bed was super comfy. The towels were thick and plush. There were lots of little extras like cookies, coffee creamer, etc. I hope to stay again.

My husband and I were very pleased with our lodging. The photos and description were accurate. The rooms were very clean and even though it was still cold out, the heating inside was perfect. We loved how quiet the area was. Out side at night you could hear the proverbial "pin drop". We were within walking distance to all attractions. I would absolutely stay at this location again.

Excellent host. Very clean place, beautiful property. Laura was amazing. It was like staying with a good friend. We bought some of her eggs and delicious honey. We would definitely stay there again. My wife and I and our fur babies will miss Laura, Jerald, and Dasher.

We had such a great visit to Winchester for the Apple Blossom Festival & were so happy to find how convenient this location was to everything. The space was so clean and had every amenity we needed - like coffee for the keurig, creamer in the fridge, and toiletries for the bath. They even had umbrellas downstairs for the unexpected rain shower that hit during our stay. I loved the historic feel to the unit, like the exposed brick and wood floors, but also the modern comforts they added like the kitchen appliances and walk-in shower. We can't wait to come back next year.

The most convenient stay I have ever had!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Basil! It was very clean and well equipped. The kitchen had a good supply of pots, pans, knives, silverware, dishes, etc. It was especially nice to have a full rack of spices available so that we could cook meals without having to purchase all of the little extras. The living space was comfortable and spotless. There were many little touches that made the stay quite comfortable. Basil's location is ideal. Just a block from the Old Town walking mall, it was so easy to wander about, get great food, people watch, and enjoy the street buskers. It is also less than 3/4 of a mile from the trails of the Shenandoah Museum. The area is very walkable. It's also under 30 minutes to get to trailheads along the Appalachian Trail and under 45 minutes to the Shenandoah National Park. We stayed for over a week and would definitely stay there again. We highly recommend Basil.

Gail and Sam's apartment on the 2nd floor of their home was very conveniently located! The Historic District was within easy walking distance and there was ample parking at the AirBNB. Gail did a great job explaining the check-in/check-out process via her email. Check-out was even easier as we didn't have a long list of "to-do's" on departure. We certainly enjoyed seeing some of the sites in Winchester and the surrounding area and we would stay at this AirBNB again. Thank you, Gail and Sam!

This apartment was absolutely cozy! I've never stayed in an Airbnb that is a part of someone's house, and I felt very comfortable with my stay. On top of that, the space was noticeably pristine! We happened to meet Erika and John in passing and they were extremely pleasant. Since the weather has been changing, Erika made a point to ask about the temperature in the apartment and quickly followed up by providing us a fan to keep us cool! The aesthetic in the apartment is super cute, especially if you like cats. We felt calm and at-home in this space. Would definitely stay again if we come out to Front Royal! P.S., ask Erika about cool and vintage spots nearby ;) She's got all the info!

Beautiful house with nice amenities. Master bedroom on main floor allows for privacy. Also, great stay if you bring a dog. Safe backyard fenced area and mud room allow space to feed. Hint - walk up to Trinity Episcopal Church about 1/4 mile away and walk in 30+ acre fields behind the church. Accessible and great for walking.

Lovely spot by the river for a quiet weekend out of the city. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard, we loved watching the river roll by for a couple of days. The house had everything you could want for a great stay, from lawn chairs and decent internet to cooking basics and even kits for smores. We would definitely love to come back later in the summer when the river's a bit warmer!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Tricia. It was very clean and spacious with everything you need. It's all on one level with no access steps, so it was perfect for our dog with stair mobility issues. Beautiful windows at a level where my dog Angus could watch the deer. In the summer, there are tons of outdoor activities in the area. Highly recommend, would stay again.

Truly enjoyed staying at Janell's AirBnB. The house was spacious, well stocked, and had all the needed amenities we wanted for getting ready for our event. I would highly recommend to anyone to stay at this place as the scenery is beautiful and is in a remote/quite area!

We really enjoyed our stay in this house and Suranny was very responsive and helpful. The house was clean as can be and very spacious. Lots of natural sunlight and a wonderful covered porch to sit out on. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. We would certainly stay here again in the future.

Two friends and I had a great girls’ weekend at Julie’s house. The setting is peaceful and the house was just as described. Check-in and check-out were easy and the house was spotless. Thank you for the great stay!

The house was perfect for our family Middleburg weekend stay. It was clean, cozy, well stocked, and centrally located. The tavern across the street was so convenient and added a local feel. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Amazing getaway! We enjoyed the beautiful spring blooms and cozy fires. And the view!! Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful time in this Airbnb above Abolitionist Ale Works. It’s spacious, bright, clean and charming. It has a lovely kitchen and deck and large bedrooms. It was very clean and directions were very clear. The brewery below is great with beer and many kinds of pizzas. Not far from Harper’s Ferry we enjoyed our touring and ending each night with great food and beer and lovely apartment. Can’t wait to go back! My husband thought it was the coolest Airbnb we have been to so far!

Taylor provides a great spot for the region. Close to Harper's Ferry with all its hiking & Antietam for the history buffs, this provided the perfect respite for our small family. We really appreciated Taylor providing high quality cookware and dishes. Many times hosts cheap out on that stuff but Taylor had great stuff - even a pod and drip coffee combo! Private and roomy, we found everything to be as advertised and then some. Taylor was always quick to respond to our queries and provided good advice on local attractions. We enjoyed our time there and highly recommend her place if one is in the area.

Second time I have stayed and I enjoy the location and the close by food and drink options. Very quiet for a downtown location. While they do not offer parking, free parking is just two blocks away. The street parking in from of Abolitionist makes it easy to unload.

The apartment was very clean, very modern, and as advertised.

Great place to stay

Alison's place is great if you value being walkable to Old Town. We prefer this over staying at the Wyndham Grand because of the separate room for our baby to sleep in. The kitchen is modern and fridge with a water filter is clutch. We didn't try to make any meals. Bed was clean/firm, HVAC was responsive, and lounge chair in the sitting area was comfortable. You can hear the train and street noise (especially cars w/o mufflers) at night, but I assume that's the case if you stay anywhere near Old Town.
