Citta di Castello: soggiorni in alloggi con caminetto

We had a perfect break in Lorenza’s lovely house. It was extremely spacious and exceptionally clean. The garden is beautiful and well maintained with lots of areas to sit in and enjoy the peaceful environment. Our dogs loved their walks in the woods nearby and they enjoyed meeting all the feline residents! Lorenza and her husband are a lovely friendly couple who have put a lot of thought into ensuring their guests have a great holiday.

Franco met us in the town center and we followed his car on a 8 minute drive down a narrow side street to the apartment. We conversed using Google Translate and he showed us everything around the house. He is a gem of a person and very helpful. He sent us a lot of useful information about events around the town for Easter. The apartment is small, cozy and rustic with the basics. The porch in front of the main door offers a great view of the countryside, partially hidden by the house in front. The Medieval tower of Castiglione Florentine is pretty with excellent views. You need a car to explore the surrounding area. We loved Assisi, Montepulciano, Sienna - so many beautiful towns. P.S. The wi-fi is flaky and not sufficient for working remotely on zoom/teams conferences.

Riccardo, contattato via messaggi, è stato sempre puntuale nelle risposte e super esaustivo nelle indicazioni riguardanti l'appartamento, vari consigli su dove parcheggiare e su come arrivare alla struttura. Cassetta di sicurezza per la chiave quindi check in molto rapido. Appartamento pulito e in ottima posizione per visitare montepulciano a piedi. 4 bottiglie d'acqua a disposizione e tutto il necessario per fare colazione. Lo consiglio

Nous avons passé 5 nuits chez Paolo (appartement pour 4 personnes). Un havre de paix : une immense piscine parfaitement entretenue, une vaste pelouse et de multiples endroits pour se reposer, lire (à l'ombre ou au soleil), etc. Une table de ping - pong à l'écart. Une literie très confortable. Un équipement très complet. Un endroit majestueux, à l'écart du voisinage et pourtant très près de Monte San Savino (avec ce qu'il faut de magasins, de restaurants, etc) et pas loin de l'autoroute (ce qui permet une grande mobilité dans la région). Bref, un excellent séjour.

casa molto bella, con giardino grande, ben curato. la posizione è molto comoda per girare la regione. si arriva in 10 minuti ad assisi, 20 a perugia e spello, 40 a gubbio. unica nota da considerare è che c'è una sola doccia nella casa, quindi per 5 ospiti potrebbe non essere molto comodo. noi eravamo in 3 ed era tutto ok.

Wat een fantastische huis en tuin. We waren met 3 families in de leeftijd van 8 maanden tot zeventig jaar, voor ieder was er voldoende aanwezig. Het zwembad was fantastisch, iedereen genoot ervan. In de tuin is zoveel te ontdekken, bomen, struiken, kruiden, vol vlinders en insecten en zelf een niet gevaarlijke schorpioen, heel avontuurlijk. Nella was zelf niet aanwezig maar reageerde snel voor onze vragen. Ook had zij een kok geregeld om een avond voor ons te koken. Lily en haar dochter Isabella hebben super heerlijke traditionele Italiaanse gerechten voor ons gekookt, super! En Fabritius bracht een heerlijke rode wijn mee. Cortona is te belopen, wel moet je wat conditie hebben. Het stadje is prachtig en het theatertje prachtig om te zien met een heerlijk restaurant ernaast. Wij komen zeker terug♥️

Un sogno che diventa realtà, uno dei borghi più belli d'Italia dove regna pace ,tranquillità e semplicità. Borgo di Quota a 10 minuti dal paese Poppi percorrendo una strada di tornanti ben mantenuta accessibile a tutti,tra l'altro nel paese di Poppi puoi trovare tutti i servizi possibili. Una menzione particolare alla Host Claudia , persona stupenda così come l'appartamento. Ma penso che le parole non bastino un posto così bisogna viverlo,e aggiungo che in zona si mangia davvero bene. Dimenticato a Quota troverete anche una bottega rifornitissima gestita da persone speciali.

Carla has been exceptional at communicating with us. We vacation by bus and train, the night we arrived it was raining and Carla came out to meet us with umbrellas. She had a fire going when we got there which was very welcome. Carla explained how the various appliances work, which was appreciated as differences often exist between one brand and another - the last thing I need first thing in the morning is having to discover how to make the first cup of coffee.

Anna was an incredible host, so helpful and personable. We were blown away by the space from its location to its cleanliness. And the view from the kitchen window was amazing! Highly recommend!

Il posto è magnifico. Svegliarsi al mattino e godere di quella vista non ha prezzo. In casa c’era tutto, soprattutto in cucina. Ritengo sia in posizione strategica, 20/30 da tutte le attrazioni principali della zona.

Il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole, la casa è confortevole e dotata di tutti i comfort descritti. La casa si trova a pochi passi dal centro del paese e vicino ad un bellissimo parco fluviale dove trascorrere momenti di relax. Paola è stata sempre gentile e disponibile, è probabile che torneremo scegliendo di nuovo lo stesso alloggio.

Abbiamo soggiornato qui un paio di giorni ci siamo sentiti come a casa, l'appartamento era in ordine e pulitissimo aveva tutto il necessario l'host è stato molto gentile e premuroso. Sicuramente ritorneremo magari per un soggiorno estivo.

Der Aufenthalt in Porciano in der Unterkunft von Massimo und Deborah war einfach nur traumhaft. Die Unterkunft selbst war super schön und gemütlich, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Ruhe und vor allem die netten Bewohner des kleinen Burgdorfes haben wir in unser Herz geschlossen. Die Landschaft ist ein Traum und ich kann einen Aufenthalt dort sehr empfehlen. Massimo hat uns das Haus perfekt erklärt und die Willkommensmarmelade von Deborah schmeckt super lecker. Danke für diese tollen Tage. Wir hoffen, dass wir noch einmal zurückkehren werden.

Wirklich ein wunderbarer Rückzugsort inmitten von Olivenbäumen und fantastischer Landschaft. Der Weg über verschlungene Pfade und Schotter lohnt sich, denn der Ort besticht durch seine fantastische Ruhe. Ein riesiger Pool mit Blick über das Tal, zahlreiche Vögel, Blumen... einfach schön.

This was a wonderful comfortable home to base ourselves for the week whilst we explored Cortona and beyond. It was everything we could have hoped for. Very peaceful with amazing views.

Appartamento bellissimo e pulitissimo....dalle finestre si vedeva piazza grande una meraviglia..bello svegliarsi al mattino o guardare fuori alla sera e vedere questo spettacolo della storia davanti a noi ..accoglienza ottima con molti consigli sui posti da poter visitare e dove poter mangiare e i vari musei ..Federico molto comunicativo e cinzia che ci ha accolto educatissima e di una grande gentilezza...abbiamo trovato oggettistica varia in bagno che è stata molto utile...asciugamani e lenzuola pulitissimi...una bottiglia d acqua...caffe e the e zucchero a disposizione....dalla posizione fantastica si visita Arezzo a piedi e c'è tutto lì a pochi passi..appartamento consigliatissimo...visitatelo perché merita. grazie Federico e grazie a questa meravigliosa città.

Nous avons passé un séjour en famille très agréable malgré la pluie. Simone nous a réservé le cours de tennis couvert, le resto, et nous a même arrangé en un temps record la réparation de notre voiture. La maison est splendide, vue époustouflante, les équipements sont d'un grand confort.

Pier’s place was so beyond beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We loved cooking in the kitchen with the lovely ambiance and amenities left for us. The day we arrived he left us a delicious sweet bread that we could not stop eating. Any questions we had for him he responded within a reasonable manner. If you are looking to stay in a place that makes you feel at home, but also in a place that is unimaginable this is it!

We had a wonderful time in Tuscany! We were able to make use of the pool on the first day with our two boys, 7 and 4. We visited Pienza, Montepulciano and Montelccino. We also purchased two of the wines from the estate. Alex made everything very easy and was a great host!

Our stay at Villa Chiara was nothing short of delightful. Nestled in the hills it offered a picturesque view of the Tuscan countryside. The villa itself was spacious and well maintained. It felt like home away from home. The pool and back patio are surrounded by lovely flowers, herbs and olive trees. Offering a spectacular view of the evening sunsets. The location was perfect to take short day trips to Siena, Florence and Montepulciano. Highly recommend for a serene, peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Wonderful villa on a fantastic place with a tremendous view on the valley op Poppi. Clean rooms , excellent beds . Very large garden with 360 degrees view all over the region. Fantastic swimming pool . Very friendly and cooperative hosts . Rating : 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a wonderful stay at the villa in Tuscany and felt at home right away. The hosts, Silvana, Iacoppo, and Bruno, took excellent care of us and were always attentive to our needs. The villa itself is spacious and well-equipped with everything one could ask for. The beautiful pool with its stunning views and the cozy fireplace area were definite highlights. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the Tuscan countryside. Thank you again for an unforgettable stay!

We loved this Tuscan paradise! Perfect location to get to Siena, Montepulciano, Montalcino, etc very easily (within 30 mins). A beautiful private and quiet retreat in the heart of southern Tuscany. The villa itself is stunning with a true antique and lived-in feel. The grounds were gorgeous and provided a new spot for us to enjoy our morning tea and coffee each day. The pool is only cleaned once in two weeks, but luckily the maintenance crew were scheduled for the 2nd day of our arrival. Walking around the olive groves and hillside were a treat! A deeper cleaning of the house and cobwebs would be appreciated, but it is a large country villa and we know that can be hard. Important thing to note, there are two ACs, one in the master bedroom and one in the bedroom with two single beds. We were there in September and the weather was extremely pleasant so we did not need more than this.

Our stay at Terra Antica was a dream. The location is perfect and the property and villa are exceptional. We were close enough to town to get to restaurants and shopping and then come back for some quiet relaxing time. There are numerous wineries to visit in the area. Day trips to other local towns are easy to do as well. The private jacuzzi was an extra bonus & we used it several times during our stay. We will be back again!
