This place was perfect for a week's stay. Very close to Big Rapids. In less than. 10 minutes you can be at any number of restaurants, or grocery stores. There is a gas station 1 minute away, and it's less than 10 minutes to US131 which is a straight shot to Grand Rapids, or further into Northern Michigan. The little community is quiet, and other than a couple neighbors leaving their dogs off leash, we had a great stay with our pups. It really felt like we were right at home. Arturo also keeps things well stocked. Plenty of TP, paper towel, soap/shampoo, trash bags etc. All you need to bring is food! Would 100% stay here again.

We stay in airbnbs often. This was by far the best in all categories we have ever been. Response time was amazing, all amenities present and little to no thought was needed by us for what we needed. Everything from toilet paper, paper towels, coffee etc was present. We enjoyed every moment and created many precious memories with our family. It is obvious a lot of thought went into this space and even with little kids things were perfect! We felt safe and had plenty of space for the amount of people present. So welcoming and clean.

This is our second time staying. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. There is a very nice large open area. Not sure if the pictures do it justice. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked as if you were at home. Two bedrooms and bath are on one side of the house and the other bedroom and bath are on the other side making it great for two families. We skied at Caberfae which is a short 10 minute drive. Janette reached out to us prior to arrival to let us know the check in instructions. Everything went very smoothly. We are already planning next years trip, and will definitely return. Highly recommend !!!

What an absolute "gem" in the woods. We couldn't have asked for a better host. Jennifer was very receptive and periodically checked "to make sure" everything was okay. The house was in a secluded and quiet wooded neighborhood. There is something to be said about enjoying a hot cup of coffee sitting and the porch and taking in the sights and sounds of autumn and the smell of the fallen leaves. The dogs had a great time exploring the fenced in yard. I have a passion for cooking and found the kitchen supplied with an abundant supply of cooking utensils and pots and pans with a large kitchen table to sit down and enjoy those dishes. Quiet time in the evenings were spent watching movies in the family rooms. The house is centrally located and never more than an hour away from our daily adventures in various areas in the state. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and would gladly stay here again.

Exactly as described. Had a comforting older home grandma feel. All the furniture was comfortable. Loved the recliners! Loved the foos ball, fireplace thingy in the basement, deck, outdoor fire pit and the wildlife! Had some frustration with the heating system. Theres a weird mix and match heating system with no written instructions on how to control the heating. There is no air conditioning at all which made for some discomfort on days it reached the 50s. Enjoyed our stay! Home was really clean! Love that bedding and furniture was not white!

We really enjoyed staying at Lisa’s. We unfortunately didn’t get to use many of the amenities because we were very busy while there. Hopefully you can!

Midge was an incredible host, extremely friendly and hopeful. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated for the holidays, with beautiful views on the local lake! This was the perfect staycation for our family & we look forward to all the future stays.

"The Land" was perfect to celebrate an 80th Birthday. The main floor bedroom was great for the guest of honor. We ended up with 14 of us staying at the house (with a little coordination for the 2 bathrooms) it was a great set up. It helped that the weather was nice, so we could be outside by the fire or playing yard games. Some people enjoyed walks on the property as well. Nathan was very quick to answer all our questions. Not having internet or TV I think allowed for more interactions and game playing. Cell phones worked just fine. Thanks for sharing your place it will be a great memory for our family.
