The views stunning, enjoyed the sunsets. Weather was perfect to enjoy the patio and a little bird watching( abundance of woodpeckers and spotted a couple of eagles). The house had everything we needed. The kitchen well equipped as we cooked nightly. We also enjoyed the town of Smithville which has nice boutiques, antiques and coffe shop. Nice tranquil property.

Debbie's place was a great choice for us! the fishing is great. The dock is beautiful, and the house was decorated nice as well. She was very responsive and friendly. I'd recommend her place to my family and friends!

Laura is a great host and I appreciate her flexibility with our schedule and her quick responses and attention to detail. The house was perfect! The back room is cozy with the most amazing view! My family loved the amazingly huge dining room table. We found ourselves gathering around it a lot to talk or play games and of course eat! And the large kitchen island is perfect for a family pizza making night!! I would totally stay here again. Thanks Laura!

Our family has been coming to Bear Paw for the last 20 years for our family reunion. This was our first time in this cabin, and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space, and our children truly enjoyed the game room and well stocked board games. We ended up meeting the neighbors when enjoying the lake and they were so wonderful as well.

Beautiful lake and surroundings! My pup and I loved the kayak. It was so nice to have everything provided, including life jackets. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable!

We loved our weekend in this beautiful home! There are so many spots to gather around as a family. The beds were comfortable. Our one year-old loved the porch swing! We cannot wait to come back.

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend here! I can honestly say that this was one of the most welcoming Airbnb experiences I've ever had. The hosts greeted us and gave us a thoughtful tour of the space, and they even prepared delicious homemade cookies for us. They also ensured that heaters near the river functioned well, and they made themselves available for any questions. The location and room itself were peaceful and incredibly comfortable. I already hope to come back for a get-away weekend once the weather warms up! I cannot recommend this Airbnb enough.

We really enjoyed this cozy apartment with a flare. The accent brick walls were kept of the original facade and it looks great! Comfortable bed and pillows! Next to everything we need. Just a note: three flights of stairs so not for the physically challenged. We would stay again!

Would definitely come back for another stay here. Susan was extremely accommodating and provided us with snack and drinks upon arrival. Gorgeous neighborhood and view from the back porch of the lake. Super clean and comfortable space.

Great place for a peaceful weekend getaway

This was a perfect location - a couple friends and I just needed a quiet place to stay for a few days while in the area to do some fishing on nearby lakes. Connie's place is serene, beautiful, and very close to town while enjoying the benefits of being countryside. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay, and the property is really nicely taken care of!

My fiancé and I came to visit the area because we were attending a dance competition for his daughters. The area is very beautiful. Mr. Gary was very kind and responsive. The weekend we attended had severe weather that came out of nowhere. We were sight seeing and he alerted us on what was going to happen and how to prepare for safety. Thank you Mr. Gary for the incredible service and hospitality.

We really enjoyed our stay and could recommend it. We were attending a wedding nearby and the location was perfect. The amenities were amazing, and we enjoyed having so much space and privacy. We also felt very safe. It got loud some nights due to the heating working, but the weather outside was exceptionally cold some nights. Also, low cars might have trouble getting in and out of the parking but I think there were alternative places to park. James and Angela were lovely hosts and I really appreciated their attentive and considerate communication. I felt if there were any issues they would help to resolve it promptly. Thanks so much!

Melanie was wonderful! She was very easy to reach and had a very quick response time. She provided clear check in and check out instructions. The cabin was nice and in a quiet location, which was relaxing and peaceful.

My three sisters and I stayed for a weekend. We so enjoyed the stay!! The kitchen had everything we needed to make some of our favorite childhood recipes, even including some of the ingredients. Everything was clean! We especially enjoyed playing games at the kitchen table and corn hole on the upper lawn. Thank you!!

This place is just beautiful! It is so serene and not one detail was missed. Everything is perfectly clean, decorated and labeled. The beds and pillows were super comfortable too. It felt just like home to us! We really enjoyed our mornings on the porch watching the wildlife. We even saw deer and an adorable groundhog! Check in was a breeze with our great host! Would absolutely love to visit again and will definitely recommend to anyone we know heading to this area!

Loved the area! Great outdoor space for the guys to hang out at. The cottage was very clean and Angela had provided everything we needed plus some extras. It was convenient to the thing's we had planned in Trenton and it was just a short drive to Chattanooga. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you Angela for everything!

We were in town for a baseball tournament so this was perfect, much better than a hotel since there were 4 of us. Pictures and descriptions were accurate. It's an older house but it's clean with some modern and nice upgrades. No tv's in the bedrooms but we used our phones - no big deal, just an fyi. The location was quiet and peaceful. Host was very quick and helpful responding to messages. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

This cottage is the perfect “getaway” cottage! So cozy and peaceful, especially the front porch in the morning with coffee and the evenings with a cocktail . Very convenient to Smithville but even more so to the marina. My favorite thing (among others) was the well equipped kitchen! Perfect for those who like to cook! Loved all the parking for cars and our boat. Finally, it was truly a pleasure working out details etc with Nicole. She’s the best and left no stone unturned to insure our stay was fabulous. We highly recommend this cottage and Nicole and look forward to renting again one day!
